Leaping straight from the astonishing events of this year’s Hellfire Gala, the unlikely team of Magik, Mirage, Marrow, Dust and Typhoid Mary find themselves stranded in…Vanaheim? And what’s even more confusing, the locals seem to believe that they hold the key to fulfilling a prophecy that can either raise the realm to riches – or cause it to fall to ruin. With Magik’s powers malfunctioning and a mysterious figure amassing power on the outskirts of the realm, these X-Men are going to have to band together if they want to stay alive long enough to find their way home!

  5. Marrow was the female Wolverine back when she first joined the X-Men in the 90’s. Typhoid Marry is a great addition to a story like this. She make a great antihero; someone who much like Marrow and Magik, wouldn’t hesitate to decapitate a villain before they get out a single word. I don’t agree with Dust being affected by the nausea spell since her dust form would make her immune to nausea much like she is immune (or resistant) to telepathy. Also, I’m not a fan of Saturnine being a villain again after she helped Mutants so much when they needed help. What’s the deal with this back and forth between her and Merlin constantly switching between good and bad? It’s getting repetitive.

  9. Not a fan of the way Magik is sidelined and rendered useless but there are 2 issues left i think but will see where it goes . I was curious why she can't use magic but got the answer in this issue 2:35 . A missed opportunity to make Ilyana use magic and crack some skulls like Clea . Not to mention she is proficient with her sword .

  10. Mutant kind need to recognise very quickly that witches are going to destroy them, marvel has this obsession with putting mutant kind through tragedy and pain, the avengers never go through this suffering and pain all the time.

I cant help but feel like they're doing everything too late… This seems to be an atempt to tie the Ten realms to Otherworld's multiverse, but Saturnyne is placed as a villain instead of an ally. Excalibur ended with what seemed to be a possible partnership between Betsy's New Corps and Saturnyne…

    I feel so robbed when I think about the potential of linking the Captain Britain Corps to Legion's Altar… I miss the version of Betsy that is the Queen of her reality's England. And the one that became Sorceress Supreme.
