Lorem Ipsum is what is often typed to fill in as a text placeholder for layouts. It roughly translates to something like "No one likes pain because it is pain." but it might be incorrectly written due to where it comes from historically.
So those ovens you dont have the ingredients to use are for crafting. You get crafting stuff from plants because of your cryptobotony. So you just happen to be unlucky and not have any when you go to those arcane ovens. Your not missing anything. You will just find stuff to craft with randomly.
Homeboy the reason that you cannot interact with the stove is because you haven't read the recipe. Right now you only have the dough baby, but to unlock that and others you first have to read the recipe you receive as an item before it can be crafted. Hope that helps.

Also, some information because of the derringer salesman: Given the mentions of Albany and Poughkeepsie, this game is most likely set in New York. (And Ocean City is probably a stand-in for NYC.) Concealed carry has been legal in NY since the Sullivan Act of 1911, but you need a permit for it. So technically you would still be breaking the law since the game never has you register or get a license for your derringer.
