  3. 1:39:14 No. Amundsen did not die on the way back. It was Captain Scott and his team, the other party in the race for the pole, that died on the way back! Amundsen had returned home to Norway, and was on a lecture tour of the USA when the news of Scott's fate reached him.
    Amundsen would die in 1928 aboard his flyingboat Latham 47 when it crashed while on a search and rescue mission to try and find survivors of the crashed Airship Italia in the Barents sea.

  4. Anyone notice that one religion is responsible for 90% behind the list of most dangerous countries. When will the US learn that one murderous, not so religious, dictator that can squash chaotic uprising of religious terrorists, is much better than chaotic hoards of radical terrorists overrunning the entire country.
