Real 737 Pilot LIVE | Testing Active Sky for XP12 | ZIBO MOD 737 | Aberdeen – Billund

Join me LIVE as we test the latest version of the ZIBO MOD 737 with the latest Beta of Active Sky for X-Plane 12

ASXP has always been in my opinion the most realistic interpretation of live weather in any desktop simulator. Let’s see how the Beta version is working in XP12 in some LIVE gnarly weather!

Today we’re flying between Aberdeen (EGPD) and Billund (EKBI) which has some of the strongest winds in Europe right now (38kts!)

THIS STREAM IS NOT TO BE USED FOR REAL WORLD FLIGHT TRAINING

The primary purpose of this stream is to give you the opportunity to see how a Real 737 Captain operates a desktop simulated aircraft in real time using real world operating procedures.

Whilst every effort is made to accurately replicate the way the aircraft is flown based on my experience as an Airline Captain and Type Rating Instructor, this is purely for entertainment only.

If you happen to be a line pilot or training pilot you must not follow the guidance in this livestream, it is purely for non-professional computer simulated flight. Only consult your approved material from your respective operator.

Personal questions and queries regarding my employment status will not be answered.

  1. Hey! Great stream, I'll be rewatching it to learn some better tips within the 737. What does the course button do, and how can I find it for my departure and approach

  2. I always loved active sky but that sudden disappering and reloading of clouds just close before reaching them really annoyed me and made me go to XEenviro. So, is this fixed with smooth transitions or do the clouds again disappear when active sky injects new weather? Its most important to me.

  3. FULLY agree with wanting the FlyjSim 737-200 and 727 series updated for XP 12. i dont own that many Aircraft for XP 12 ( i do IRL, but they are RC models lol) but the ones i do have are updated. Exept the 732 and 727. Looking Forward to getting the MD 11 but otherwise im set.

  4. What weights are you allowing per passenger? Are you giving 7kg baggage per person?
    The weights I have are 80.0, 76.0, 35.0, 190.5, 190.5, 286.0, 410.0

What's that runway performance plugin in your Avitab EFB?

    Enjoyed that.
