  1. I would like to take this moment to bring attention to Rosie. After some digging, I finally figured out why I love her character so much. She's confirmed by the writer herself to basically be the hellish version of Dolly Levi. In fact, that's precisely why the episode is named as it is "Hello Rosie" to reflect the musical's name, "Hello Dolly". No wonder her character seems so familiar! I remember watching the musical as a kid with my grandpa. I was wondering what that beautiful song was at the beginning of WALL-E and when I asked him about it, he just so happens to have a copy laying around. Ah, good times. I can't believe it only took one episode for a relatively unknown character for me to immediately go into the top 5 ranks of my favorite characters. Say anything you want about this show but you can't deny, Viv knows how to write her characters and make their personalities feel distinct

  2. Charlie: "I think I always known. My Destiny could never be postponed"
Alastor: "She's filled with potential, that I could guide"

I dont wanna repeat or rephrase the comments, but it really sounds like this song got to people when merging with this series. These two are the quotes for me that hypes me up for the second season. It feels like waiting to watch something that could surpass the season finale.

  3. I have a lotta theories…that Alastors mic helps Charlie trust that this is the right move, and that without it Charlie would still be so nervous..i think she accepts his help when he hands over his most powerful weapon…exposing a vulnerability

  4. I love how the cheery, positive song contrasts not only with the horde of hungry cannibals, but also with Alastor and Rosie basically admitting that they're doing this so they can manipulate the heir to the throne of Hell.
