  1. It's nearing the end of season 2 now, so it's about time I mention:
There are some huge cuts at the end of the season. Most will likely be added to season 3 instead, but if you want to see a big cliffhanger that builds towards the endgame then I would recommend watching Echidnut's "How Re:Zero Season 2 REALLY ends" after the final episode in season 2.

  2. Bit of a tangent, but I recently remembered that Myth&Roid did the first ED theme for Re:Zero. This is notable because the singer, KIHOW, collabed with Mili on a little song called In Hell We Live, Lament which is about somebody going back in time for a retry but having to deal with the fact that the world is basically hell.

All the songs Mili makes for Project Moon are very allegorical, and while I see some strong parallels to Lobotomy Corporation, it's more likely about Dante, the Sinners and their traumas and baggages… Sinners? I guess we already know somebody else who could be referred to as a sinner and who could relate to the lyrics.

If you wanted me to live
If you want me to forgive
If you want us to pretend to be civilised humans
    […]
Why do deaths end my torture
Why can't anyone feel my hurt
Why'd you crown the most violent to be champions

Just the PM brainrot speaking, heed me no mind.

  3. Roswaal wasn’t responsible for witch cult attacking the Oni Village. Although Roswaal knew Witch Cult was going to attack due to his Tome of Wisdom but did nothing to interfere and stood aside because Ram was also needed written in the Tome of Wisdom to accomplish Roswaal’s goal.

  4. I don't reccomend you to watch Echidnut's "How Re:Zero Season 2 REALLY ends". This video itself has a lot of cuts witch is funny when you show cut content. This chapter is actually really short less than 2 pages and it's very final chapter of arc 4. You may find it easily just search "witch cult translations arc 4 everlasting contract" after chapter 130 it's called "APPENDIX: ADVENT".

  5. 3:20 The only reason why Beatrice died was because Elsa blindsided her. She thought that she had actually finished Elsa, but Elsa was still alive due to her powers( which would be explained later). In a straight 1v1 Elsa has no chance on beating Beatrice. Also Subaru knows about Elsa's powers now, so he can just explain it too his allies so the same mistakes aren't repeated.

Well Beatrice was anyway too tired of living at that point so there's a chance that she might have purposely let Elsa kill her.

Roswaal is one hell of a master manipulator as we saw in this episode. But Emilia proved to us why she is such a great character. Her growth in this season is absolutely phenomenal. But if you focus on Roswaal's dialogues, then you can see that the many things that he said about Subaru were ACTUALLY CORRECT. Well not the current Subaru Of course, but the PAST Subaru. Roswaal is just unable to fathom that Subaru has indeed changed and grown up as a person. And also how massively this has influenced Emilia.

Also in one of the scenes he said that he is indeed proud that Emilia has grown so much, but it is all meaningless as this world is doomed. What he meant here was that since the events happening here are not according to the Tome's guidance, then it means that his future plans are doomed as well. So he is trying to end everything by making it snow quickly. And you know who's going to APPEAR if Roswaal succeeds here. The Freaking Bunnies!!!

Also NOTE that to other people( Ram included) it might appear that Roswaal is just trying to massacre them all, but to us (Viewers) we know that he trying to do this so that Subaru has to Restart again. So keep the perspectives of others characters in mind as you watch the next episodes.

Even if Roswaal's plan sound insane, it is still within the realm of possibility. Like I said in one of my comments before that Roswaal's goals are so very difficult to attain that he NEEDS Subaru's help. Well by Subaru's help I mean his TIME LOOP ability. Also Ram does wish that Roswaal attains his goals, but she doesn't agree with the direction that he has chosen. She wants him to think on his own and also to stop following the Gospel's commands.

    Now about Beatrice,
Tbh I don't think that it's the right thing for Subaru to say that he is 'THAT PERSON'. Because First Of All it's a big lie. No one has bestowed Subaru with that role. According to Echidna, 'THAT PERSON" is someone who would be worthy of inheriting the Forbidden Library and all it's knowledge. And Subaru is in no way worthy of it. NOW, I not hating on him or anything, Subaru for me is the greatest protagonist in all of fiction. But HE IS not worthy of the Forbidden Library. And that's just plain facts, nothing more.
Also Beatrice is tied by Echidna's Contract that she has to follow 'That Person'. This means that she has no will of her own, she would basically be tied to 'THAT PERSON' just because of her Contract. Sure Subaru could bring her out of the Library easily by saying it, but it won't change the fact that she would still be a slave to JUST ANOTHER Contract that's UNFAIR to her.

  6. Ram didn't want Otto to tell Subaru cuz she's a classic embarrassed tsundere lol, at least that's what I think to myself.
Also, anime doesn't explain it explicitely, but Ram was all about her sister and being loyal to Roswaal, but with Rem gone Roswaal becomes the one she cares about the most instead of Rem, this influences her actions greatly. (like when she said that they'll abandon Rem and escape mansion 15episodes ago, since that is the most beneficial outcome for Roswaal with highest chance of succes, very much unlike Ram who went with Subaru to the forest in S1 to help Rem with mabeasts)
Also we have seen it before, but Ram uses wand when using magic, it's made out of her own horn and helps channel mana or something.
Puck is a little fuck, just say it, whole fanbase actualy agrees on this one.

  7. Have in mind that Rem having her name eaten may or may not have made Ram get more attached to Roswaal than she already was to begin with. Also can we appreciate how much work our boy Otto has been putting in in, what, one week from knowing Subaru? Best boy.
