I really like whitechapel and this song I understand why it might be too heavy for you, I don’t know much about Phil Bozeman’s childhood but what I do know it is sad but Phil is a really nice guy if you meet him great reaction as always keep up the awesome work
The last two albums have lot to do with Phils childhood. He lost his dad to heart attack when he was 10 and his mom was really sick with multiple personalities, drugs, etc and she died when Phil was 15-16 iirc. Anyway also the last two albums have lot of songs with only clean vocals, beautiful songs that lot of people weren't fan of but you should definitely check them out if you like his cleans.
This is like completely unrelated to what you just reacted to but I would love to see you react to Conor Maynard. He has an amazing voice and I think you would enjoy him a lot .

I was trying not to spoil anything about the song so sorry if the whole "don't take the lyrics to literally" but you got exactly what I was trying to say. This specific song might not be for you but I have a feeling you might like "Orphan" it's a lot softer than this one and I really recommend it if you want to listen to something closer to the rock side of things.
