There are a few men that were way ahead of their time. In my opinion (because I do not care about his sexual preference) Freddy was a talent that was far ahead of his time, Jimi Hendrix and Elvis and TuPac were all ahead of their time. However they left of some wonderful things to remember them by. There were more, too many to mention….
Worldwide the Beatles are the highest selling at 183 million and second is Garth Brooks at 157million .. Michael Jackson is # 6 at 89 million. These of course are actual sales. They do not account for streams which would make the balance quite a bit different.
It's really hard to pick who is best or who had the best songs because they all had their place in history. Elvis helped get rock music going and the Beatles were pretty much the first rock band that really made it big around the world and set things up for others from England to make it like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Queen etc. Queen certainly had their place in history with Freddie's voice and being the best front man ever, Brian's guitar and voice, Roger's drums and voice, John's bass, they all had college degrees. This was one of the first rock videos and set things up for MTV to start. You really should watch Bohemian Rhapsody the movie to really get a feel for who this band was. It is free on youtube to watch and maybe you could do a reaction video for it. I would watch you watching that. Even though the timeline on the movie was a bit off, Brian and Roger did help with the movie to make sure it was close enough to real that people would know the personalities of each member and understand a lot of their struggles and Freddie's death.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" was the first song ever to get to number one in the UK twice with the same version, and is also the only single to have been Christmas number one twice with the same version. (In 1975 and after Freddie's death in 1991.) In the United States, the song peaked at number nine in 1976, but reached a new peak of number two after appearing in the 1992 film Wayne's World.
Saw Queen twice (with Freddie) and Freddie absolutely had the audience wrapped around his fingers during the whole concert. He had us singing along with him, echoing his vocalizations, clapping with him, etc. We were his marionette puppets. And we LOVED it!
I'm a white girl in her 50s from Detroit! You guys are the best! At the 8 minute mark, you made you shoot pop out of my nose from laughing so hard. Love all your videos!
Freddie apparently said the Ozzie John Farnham rock singer was the man with the great voice. Check out John and Jimmy Barnes out to hear something special.
You guys put a smile on my face every time I watch you.. Adorable. I'm an old boomer white woman, A favorite of mine is Birdland by Weather Report and or Maynard Fergeson. You cannot be in a crappy mood after you listen to it. BTW us boomers have gone through a massive amount of great music. We can be quite interesting. I'm telling my boomer friends to tune i into your pod. Keep up the bridge to harmony.
FINALLY! I have waited months for y’all to “open your eyes” to the greatness of Queen. Btw, if a commenter has not already said this, the opening “four heads” is not four voices. It is all Freddie harmonizing with himself. He was in a class by himself but as a band together, Queen’s studio harmonies are meticulous and masterful. With some exceptions, the live versions blow studio out of the water but both are incredibly & wonderfully different experiences. Please go down the Queen rabbit hole, you won’t be disappointed.
You guys should react to "Fat Bottomed Girls" and "Mr. Fahrenheit" The lead guitarist for the group, Brian May, went on to be an astrophysicist for the European Space Agency.
They are great, but they aren't better the Beatles.
They have so many bangers. Killer Queen, somebody to love, crazy little thing called love, don’t stop me now, we will rock you, fat bottomed girls, I want to break free, another one bites the dust, we are the champions, Brighton rock, hammer to fall, radio Gaga, you’re my best friend. Definitely should give some of those a listen
If you play Another One Bites The Dust backwards it says "I love to smoke marijuana". It made the news back in the 1980's. You can probably find a Youtube video showing it.
I fuckin love you guys 😂 best reaction to this song iv ever seen, everyone of you did it different and it was so funny to watch, love watching you, Never change ❤
What I dig is that you guys know good jam when you hear/see it. Regardless of genre. 🤠👌

I love the look on people's faces when they find out Freddie was Iranian, and his parents only moved to England when he was still a tot 😂

Oceans ofSlumberA return to the earth below!!!!Freddy held the audiences active in the palm of his hands. They would do anything he asked them to. He was mesmerizing.

The lead singer died from the gay aids. You can blame Fauci for that one.
