  2. As a lions fan, uh, how the FUCK does brad keep getting away with this

The entire NFL is getting fleeced but the lions aren't just an NFC north contender now, they're an NFC contender

  3. He doesn't loose money He's 25 the money will come. He's in Detroit. A low expectation team on a 1 year deal. The Lions don't have to pay their QB 50 million and IF he balls out the money will be there.

  4. Right Philly offers 11 mill 3 years….why would ge sign that?

I'm sure if he plays great in Detroit they will lock him up long term next year or he could sign somewhere else either way he should double what Philly offered…easy

  6. Life-Long LIONS fan here! First time listening to you guys (this show) and I wanted to say I really like not only what (format) you do but how (your voices) you do it! Great listen!
FYI, on the behind the scenes part with Detroit, our DC is Aaron Glen (fmr all pro DB), who has spoken about his time with CGJ. He said that they butted heads a lot when he was the DB coach in NO. They are fully aware of his presence in and of the field. Even further into the Lions den, they are not the “weak-willed” team at any level any longer. They are 100% in on team and culture, and it’s a lot like NE and Bellichek were known for in the Brady era. They will not suffer any unnecessary BS that comprises that new culture, and being a team with a staff rostering 75% fmr players (and players who have played in meaningful roles/games) that get big respect from the current players because they relate to them. They are the equivalent of a team (locker room) with a veteran player presence who are not going to allow any erosive behavior to grow in their family.
CGJ will either succeed big time and they sign him to a long term deal next year, or they decide he’s not a culture fit and he’s gone (just like that, they will do it absolutely). And if he were to get into stupid confrontational behavior with staff, players, or even social media, they are not the culture to care who he is or what his skill set is. He won’t make the year if he’s not a culture fit.

  7. Honestly, as a fan…it feels like Howie, was playing the, " I'm smarter than you" roll, how doesn't he seal the deal w this possible superstar, I think this was a BIG, BIG MISTAKE ON PHILADELPHIAS SIDE.
