Haven’t sent any Aleah in a long while, so here are a couple more from her 2020 posthumous album. As a reminder, that album had an acoustic side of songs remastered from her early solo work, and an electric side where her musical and life partner Juha Raivio re-composed four of those tracks plus composed two songs Aleah had laid down vocals for before she died. This first one is one of those two original songs; my guess is she was optimistically saving it for a solo album, as I think you’ll agree it doesn’t sound like it would work as a Trees of Eternity song; it’s slightly more upbeat. They made animated music videos for all six of the electric tracks; this video continues a loose story started in another Aleah track you’ve seen, “Breathe.” It ends (I think; The other three of the six probably just stand alone but maybe I’m wrong) with the track you’ll be reacting to after this one.
