I miss it when the Ray Gun was super potent. But it wasn't until BO2 that it lost its strength. All because the strong RG would overshadow the other wonder weapons. Understandable but at least may it still be viable instead of removing PHD and making it weak af. Imagine instead of killing zombies, it at least stuns them so it could at least save you. Rest In Peace Ray GUN. Your service of making crawlers, blasting hordes and making 12 year olds cry will be remembered

man cold war really did juice the ray gun, Ive gone back to cold war recently and really dont understand the hate it got later on, many say outbreak sucked, I was part of that crowd, but to be honest I really was just bandwagoning it, I played like 1 or 2 games of outbreak and just said it sucks, going back to cold war and actually trying it out, I really ended up liking it and its made me slightly more excited of MWZ, tho I still am cautious about MWZ, Vanguard Zombies just really did suck, to a level that has shaken my faith in the game mode, now I do understand many of the pain points of Cold War, the maps are generic, the operator system is awful for Zombies it really makes me miss any of our old crews, the Easter Eggs are very short and simple
but Cold Wars gameplay has really laid a good foundation, a foundation I hope Treyarch returns to and Cold War isn't a 1 off

While the MK 3 isn't the best BO3 Wonder Weapon, it is certainly the best raygun
I'm still sad the MK3 isn't infinite damage and does eventually fall off, its the only reason I like the MK2 more 😔
