i have but 1 complaint about the CW ray gun, its splash radius feels tiny, other than that it feels great to use.
i also love the gallo ray gun blueprint, that thing is straight fire, man CW might have had a rocky launch but some of the best bundles in cod history were on it.

I personally think the best ray gun was from bo1, it just felt light, compact with old iron sights for it, powerful, and smooth with the reload animation.
what I liked most about the ray gun in bo1 is unloading shot after shot in to a horde with double tap and with the green smoke cloud it just make it look amazing. and that is y the ray gun in bo3, 4 and cold war don't feel as good to use for me.
bonus: the ray gun starting in bo2-cold war looks oversized thus it doesn't look light/compact.

The ray gun should have acted like the mauer der toten wonder weapon mixed with the origins staffs to give you options between different variations/elements of the ray gun

Ray gun sniper, it's damage is half the Max half but a 2x head multi. So 1 tap to the head but u can get clats. Cons u get pushed back 3x times as much then the regular ray gun and it acts as a bolt action and with limited ammo like 8 in clip and 40 in reserve

Make a ray gun sniper that can shoot through the first wall it touches.
