Ray Evernham's IROC Race Car Fleet Getting Ready For IROC at Lime Rock Reunion!

Ray Evernham has led the effort to bring the iconic IROC racing back after being dormant since 2006! The very first IROC event takes place at Lime Rock Park July 18-20 2024 and the cars in this video will be there! Richard Childress sent his ultra rare Dale Earnhardt raced gen 3 Camaro IROC race car over to Ray to participate in the historic revival event!

  1. I can’t wait for the event on Saturday. I had plans originally to go to SRX at Stafford Springs which would have been last week but it got postponed and the Iroc event popped up.
Love the content and the stories

  2. I am glad you use Pennzoil in your $100,000 car. It would probably void the warranty if you used the free for life oil changes from Audi. Keep the cool videos coming. We love them.

  3. You are so right. There are a lot more cars. I am so excited and can't wait until I get to see these cars in action. Wow, just half the drivers are going to be cool. Plus, you have been doing such a great job. I have learned a lot, and it has never gotten boring. Great Job Mitchell, and I can't wait to see what you do at the track.

  4. on the Pennzoil – look at the bottle the reason the spout is on one side is so you can pour it out without making a mess always have the spout on top and you can tip it almost 90 degrees and very low over the hole in the engine "before the oil comes out" good luck

  5. Wow man. Another great video.
Even as a kid growing up in Australia I was really aware of IROC.
What Ray called gen 1 and 2 IROC Camaros really float my boat. They always looked just so mean as a racecar. Those biiiig pumped guards and just the lines.
And thats from a bloke who grew up mostly as a Ford Guy in a Ford Family.
70s Camaros are just awesome cars just to look at.
Ray is pretty well know down here, just when He was starting in NASCAR he crewed for an Australian guy called Dick Johnson who went over to dabble in the Winston Cup.
I remember how highly Dick rated Ray even way back then.
Its Wonderful to see all these cars together and being looked after.
Id give up a testicle to spend an afternoon hanging around with him in that shop.
Keep the vids coming. We love them.
