Ray Evernham has led the effort to bring the iconic IROC racing back after being dormant since 2006! The very first IROC event takes place at Lime Rock Park July 18-20 2024 and the cars in this video will be there! Richard Childress sent his ultra rare Dale Earnhardt raced gen 3 Camaro IROC race car over to Ray to participate in the historic revival event!

Awesome news
It crazy, everybody thinks they want Iroc racing back……..every nascar race now days is an Iroc race.
This is cool! I LOVED the IROC races! There were some of the best races!
I'm available as a driver 🏁
This is AMAZING!
IROC Camaro super exciting 🎉
Which car has the highest top speed? Camaro or Daytona?
i swear Mark said he wasn't driving but just coming to be there awesome
Awesome video! But one thing. The blue car behind you, there is a Dodge story!🙈🙉🙊🏁🏁
Best News I've heard since 2002!! 👍👌✊🤟
Mark Martin for another IROC win🏁🏁🏁. Gonna be a fun weekend!
I can’t wait for the event on Saturday. I had plans originally to go to SRX at Stafford Springs which would have been last week but it got postponed and the Iroc event popped up.
Love the content and the stories
Hey Mitch, hope you and Logan will stop in to the Lime Rock media center. We will have a cold drink and some air conditioning waiting for you. Paul and Mike at the media center desk.
So what motors did the Gen 1 use? Cup motors or were they strokers?
Anyone? Chime in.
I loved IROC!
i like the 70s iroc cars
I wouldn’t mind mark Martin IROC car the best IROC racer of my time for my collection
That Gen 3 IROC Z is still the best looking out of all the IROC cars.
I am glad you use Pennzoil in your $100,000 car. It would probably void the warranty if you used the free for life oil changes from Audi. Keep the cool videos coming. We love them.
I collect all the iroc diecast cars that are available, absolutely favorite series especially the fire bird
This is great video footage. You're continuing to put out great content and I appreciate all that you're doing.
You are so right. There are a lot more cars. I am so excited and can't wait until I get to see these cars in action. Wow, just half the drivers are going to be cool. Plus, you have been doing such a great job. I have learned a lot, and it has never gotten boring. Great Job Mitchell, and I can't wait to see what you do at the track.
on the Pennzoil – look at the bottle the reason the spout is on one side is so you can pour it out without making a mess always have the spout on top and you can tip it almost 90 degrees and very low over the hole in the engine "before the oil comes out" good luck
I loved the IROC series. Great racing with great drivers.
I see an Evans Pinto!!! Nice!! Does Ray know where the Evans Daytona modified is located?
I always thought IROQ was a great racing series; racers from different aspects of the sport racing head-to-head in identically prepared cars. Great fun!
So awesome!!!!!
What happens to all this history when guys like ray are gone? As well as other history keepers. Will it all get parted out? Is there a future plan? I’d sure like to know.
All old school cats loved IROC. Love you, Ray, for keeping it alive. Thanks, to you, Mitch for also keeping the dream alive with videos like this. Well done as always. #bringbackiroc!
How can we watch the Lime Rock events? Thanks.
I freaking love that car!!!!
3:10 no x pipe?!
Great video! Are you going to do a Live Stream from Limerock? Love your channel. Oh, and I love my Lake Speed shirt!
Please post your videos of the IROC cars racing there. Would love to see some videos…😍
The 3rd gen Camaros and the Dodge Daytonas are my favorite i would love to build a replica 3rd Gen Camaro to rip around in.
how cool the iroc races at MIS were great. still have my shirt hat and giant banner that we took of of the fence
Just found you. Soooo many memories in that shop. Thank You
Awesome video can't wait for the event. Thanks for sharing this history.
I had a red 88 IROC with 5.7 (350) Was a badass. Exact same hood.
Mitchell you know what would be cool is if you got a Al Unser Jr to sign your Newell Coach since the family bought it new back then and get video stories from the family
Wow man. Another great video.
Even as a kid growing up in Australia I was really aware of IROC.
What Ray called gen 1 and 2 IROC Camaros really float my boat. They always looked just so mean as a racecar. Those biiiig pumped guards and just the lines.
And thats from a bloke who grew up mostly as a Ford Guy in a Ford Family.
70s Camaros are just awesome cars just to look at.
Ray is pretty well know down here, just when He was starting in NASCAR he crewed for an Australian guy called Dick Johnson who went over to dabble in the Winston Cup.
I remember how highly Dick rated Ray even way back then.
Its Wonderful to see all these cars together and being looked after.
Id give up a testicle to spend an afternoon hanging around with him in that shop.
Keep the vids coming. We love them.
Rock on…! Thanks for sharing and the memories…! Keep up your awesomeness…!!
insane!!!! life long super fan of IROC if you couldn't tell.
