  1. Imagine doing the right thing and treating humans like humans while considering the safety of inmates and officers? Such a bad guy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ how dare he care dammit!

  2. I applaud the actions of this Sheriff. He's saving the taxpayers from lawsuits. It's not like the inmates have gone free. When you are in a position to hold inmates, you must care for them. Not all of them are convicted of a crime yet. Imagine getting thrown into that place on bogus charges only to have the case dismissed later– and you were innocent.

  3. What is surprising to me with a background in administrative area of law enforcement is that this jail was even open in this era. Facilities like this are often brought into Federal Court with the result of the court shutting it down and forcing the county to build a new jail. Saw this happen from the 80โ€™s into the 90โ€™s.

  4. Those three city council members who said that they 'need more information' DESPITE having toured that decrepit jail……are no doubt MAGA people. Probably also believe that The Earth is only 6,000 years old…..
