S: gamebreakingly strong in most situations or never pass
A: gamebreakingly strong in some situations, very strong otherwise or cannot be passed sometimes
B: very strong in some situations, strong otherwise or avoid passing
C: strong in some situations, mediocre otherwise or avoid passing in some situations
D: mediocre in some situations, weak otherwise
F: complete garbage

  2. Nice rating, wouldn’t change a single one. Great that you are doing this with the expansions too! Looking forward to Venus, Colony, Turmoil and possibly Promo cards ratings as well

    One small disagreement on ”the best microbe tag”, as I would rate Viral Enhancers above Insects, but it’s a close one

  4. Great to see the prelude cards going around…
    I think these cards are pretty self explanatory save for Psychrophiles, which is amazing but it takes a while to build up; however, I'll add that it combos well with the microbe granting cards. Turning an early microbe boost into literal steel for green tech may be a very worth investment.

  5. It’s a marginal thing to even debate but I think Space Hotels should be B-tier.

    -I think the space tag on it is really underrated. Sponsors and AC can get discounted by four cards in the base + preludes, Earth Office plus the three universal discounters. SH’s space tag doubles that,

    -it can also contribute to a Satellites play as well as Cartel.

    -the +4 makes it more viable in a late-game Banker fight

  9. You could make an argument that SF memorial is C-/D+ tier, but I understand that this would complicate things. Personally, I'm not sad when I draw it, especially towards the late game, and I would rather draw SF memorial than Rover Construction, or House Printing, and it stings just a little that it shares the same space as House Printing 😀 But it really depends on how much you value the card draw, which you pointed out.
