  1. I totally disagree about rover construction: to my group it's considered always powerful, an A for sure, particularly when it's played by Tharsis republic, in that case it makes 99% game over.
On the other hand, restricted area is certainly good but maybe and S evaluation is kinda exagerated.

Two cards in this list become even more powerful with venus expansion: research with venusian animals and robotic workforce with gyropolis. Ok you need 4 power prod to play it twice, but I heard about someone in a tournament having 15 tags among venus and earth, so he made 30 MC prod in the same generation at mid game! That's INSANEEEE!

  2. In theory, if you assemble some combination of Rover Construction, Standard Tech, Pets and Meat Industry, Immigrant City and are Tharsis or Credicor, there exists a line where you can xerox off cities on the cheap.

I have yet to determine if this line is good, but it is hilarious.

I don't disagree with the rating, the ceiling on the card isn't that crazy even in a big game as triggering it 5 times still doesn't yield a profit, and by the time it does go positive the game is nearly over, which is when MC is the least valuable vs the early game.

  3. Research outpost is not S-tier.

For example i playerd this card in gen 5 and played 3 card every gen. In 12 gen i will get 21 MC. Maybe 30mc with good card draw and good economic.

So u will have +0 / +9 MC in the end of the game.

Yes, additionally , u will have a city. U can get a placemsnt bonus. It's better, than other cities, but it's not always game changing. A-tier in my opinion.

  4. The only thing that i might dissagree is rover construction, and I do agree with you that this is D for 2 player game but when I play the tabletop version we are 5 people and this card is actually insane early game

  5. Rover construction is a terrible card πŸ™‚ one of the worst: unless you are going hard cities (which is very rare, although even then its debatable) or you need a builder sign or you drew it by accident – avoid using it
