Real treat for aviation enthusiasts seeing this big beautiful old bird take to the skies over Duxford D-Day 80 airshow with its stunning chrome.
The Flying Bulls fly lots of different aircraft, the ones appearing in this video are the Douglas DC-6B and the B-25J Mitchell.
Both are awesome. But if I had to pick one… B25, every time.
I hit thumbs up, but the button disappeared? IDK if my like counted?
Hi Bob, thank you for your video, but sorry to say sweetheart, did nothing for me lol, thank you anyway โค๏ธ๐ค๐โค๏ธ
Bobsurgranny looks like you had a good place to watch the practice run ๐๐๐
Lovely stuff!
Judging by this you must have been in that little fenced off area. Looks like I might have been standing in front of you a lot of the time!
where about is this spot?
They also took the DC-6 through Mach loop as part of the Redbull Hardline mountain bike event.
And a few friends it seems. Excellent positioning you had for the takeoff's!! Though it was all good! ๐๐
I saw these at the midlands airshow this weekend, was an awesome sight
What a sound!
Looks absolutely cool and what a legend on this DC-6 ๐โจ
That lovely DC-6 sound , I remember Air Atlantic DC-6s flying out of Southend Airport at 1&2 am on a freight flight in the late 1990s.
Fabulous Bob ๐
The B-25 and B-17 sound great as well.
