Rapture Types & Shadows Review – Part 1

As I reflect on 2022, I’m grateful that The Lord led me to seek out types and shadows of a pre-tribulation rapture. After 30 years of walking with The Lord, He continues to teach and show us new things as we travel through His Word. Solomon wrote “That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9). Today I review the first four Bible accounts that I believe are types and shadows of a pre-tribulation rapture.

But the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door. And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door. Genesis 19:10-11

The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)—then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 2 Peter 2:4-9

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Revelation 3:10

Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts; and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon. Also Daniel petitioned the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego over the affairs of the province of Babylon; but Daniel sat in the gate of the king. Daniel 2:48-49

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 2:4-6

Then Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord, and the Lord killed him. And Judah said to Onan, “Go in to your brother’s wife and marry her, and raise up an heir to your brother.” Genesis 38:6-8

So she took off her widow’s garments, covered herself with a veil and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place which was on the way to Timnah; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given to him as a wife. When Judah saw her, he thought she was a harlot, because she had covered her face. Then he turned to her by the way, and said, “Please let me come in to you”; for he did not know that she was his daughter-in-law. So she said, “What will you give me, that you may come in to me?” Genesis 38:14-16

And he said, “I will send a young goat from the flock.” So she said, “Will you give me a pledge till you send it?” Then he said, “What pledge shall I give you?” So she said, “Your signet and cord, and your staff that is in your hand.” Then he gave them to her, and went in to her, and she conceived by him. So she arose and went away, and laid aside her veil and put on the garments of her widowhood. Genesis 38:17-19

Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22

    Lot gets portrayed as not righteouse all the time, but as you said our righteouseness comes from the Lord. Faith,Lot must have obtained a righteouse status from the Lord,by faith.

  5. HATE, Esther's uncle sat at the gate to. Gate represents judgement's. The priest's were supposed to teach the people the Lord's statue's JUDGEMENT'S and way's and I believe that that's what they were doing at the gate.

  9. Tamar,a missionary spoke a a evening service and she was trying to buy indentured women from a brothel in Burma. I was struggling with my not being good enough to be exceptable to ministeries, to be loved, helped in my poverty that I'm still dying from. She told about the man who ministered to them by following a little boy to the brothel. He had a service for them and they excepted the Lord, but had to go back to the brothel. She made clear to me my situation, not a brothel but the culture of our lawless Court's and people with no family. You can't be a Christian if you're very poor in this country. I stopped having faith in the Lord like I would have because I didn't believe that the Lord wanted me. After hearing that woman and other poor people struggling I began to have faith in in my forgiveness regardless of the vice's that I couldn't shake while being homeless. You know that sleeping being illegal causes people to have a sleeping disorder. It's really murder. This is why the Lord warned people about using THE LAW on people out of unforgivness.

  10. Amazing video, Sister. A friend and I had this discussion literally moments before I started watching your video. It makes perfect human sense to conclude that the “seven” year Tribulation would conclude before Israel turns 80 (May 2028) and that the Rapture would occur before the “seven” year Tribulation ever started (2021). Yes, people asserted that Israel would be 80 years up until May 17, 2029.
    Needless to say, God is using the foolish things to confound the “wise.”

  11. One of my favorite Bible stories is the fiery furnace. The 3 Hebrew boys would not bow down (a picture of saved believers at the rapture – the many and few). They wouldn't bow to the golden image (which was 6 cubits x 60 cubits and 6 instruments in the orchestra = 666, the sign of man). They were protected in the flames of the furnace by Jesus, also a sigh of the rapture.

So I was listening to you when you were talking about Lot and those people who wanted these “men” who were in Lot’s house, Lol if they only knew who those “men” really were, they were angels who morphed into looking like men!!! If the power called one then evil was fiction only real by your mind thinking two powers exist is your choice to be influenced by evil reality-based when dream does it.

  27. I'm sorry but I just watched a 🦊 Fox news story that is on u tube about the" homeless" and how all our.
    problems come from them. 😂.
    The whole thing is such a perfect example of why they are"homeless". A WOMAN, the woman in the yellow jacket, tells about what is God's provisions for them and is suicidal with ENVY. I made probably two dozen comments to put thing's in perspective and they were all taken off. I'm still just shaking mad from the whole thing. Thanks These people are plotting to kill us all.

  39. Rev 3:10 is to a specific church, just one out of 7. The Western church will go through tribulation but not the wrath of God. Job said " when he has tested me I will come forth as gold . " Jesus in Mathew 24 said His return takes place after the tribulation. AFTER !

  42. Carol, as you talked about Lot then read from 2 Peter 2, specifically verses 7-10 spoke to me of where we are these very days. We, the believers in Christ Jesus, are oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked. We dwell among them like Lot whose righteous soul was tormented day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds. Our Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations when we’re surrounded by such ungodliness, just as He did with Lot!! He will pull us, too, out of here at just the right time and we can count on it! Another beautiful foreshadowing of the soon to come rapture!! Thank you for your teachings. GBY 🙏🏻
