I WILL NOT LIE, I REALLY LIKED THE STORY AND IM EXCITED FOR THE NEXT PATCH!! During the quest, I was told it would take me 3-4 hours to complete the quest… and it took me 6 hours which caught me off guard xD
I loved the brain rot and the parallel to modern day social media/culture, the leading up to the plot and learning a bunch of secrets. If you guys didn't know, I also E6 rappa on stream (video on it soon) and she is my first ever E6! I enjoy her a lot after learning about her, and I hope you guys like Rappa as well!

Was a really fun story to watch live, Rappa really grew on me throughout the story, went from not going to pull to pulling her haha
I like that HSR is still cooking with story eventhough 2.6 is also a "filler" patch

damn 6 hour quest in one go!
Despite the doomposting and FF glazing, i pulled for Rappa… i mean Rubee (stylish, awesome ult, and as a proud Boothill owner, i just had to get another galaxy ranger to join the family). And after her story part on the second half of this 2.6, i have no regrets.
Boothill in this quest really made me like the guy. Even as a kid, he followed the same ideology he currently follows. The guy wouldn’t hesitate to shoot a bad guy no matter how old he is lol.

People who think this is a filler patch don't get involved with the story beyond the MSQ and it shows.
It still follows the plot threads of Acheron's involvement with the Galaxy Rangers (without her being here, unfortunately).
Acheron was in search of Device IX, the shadow organization that Dr. Primitive essentially runs in a pocket dimension of the Dark Web. She learned about it with her time with the Galaxy Rangers because apparently the Intelligentsia guild academics theorize that Izumo and Takamagahara were destroyed by a black hole cause by Dr. Primitives experiments (since his time as a Genius was focused on breaking the laws of gravity, which presumably ascended him into an Emanator). Any time Dr. Primitive is involved with world destroying experiments, the Galaxy Rangers hunt him down, so the rangers were her best shot at achieving her task. In order to keep herself sane and off the edge of succumbing to Nihility as a self-annihilator, she pursues Dr. Primitive's shadow organization to enact justice upon him… or at least that's what she is trying to do if she finds out that he actually did destroy Izumo as she has no evidence as of yet.
In this story quest, we follow the plot thread of Sparkle's hint that Dr. Primitive was along the way (Dr. Primitive likes bananas) because we find out in the epilogue quest to Penacony that she was given a copy of Elio's script so our involvement here was a necessary step towards tracking down Dr. Primitive. We essentially are closing off/tying up loose ends here for the Penacony cast, and setting up for Acheron's confrontation with Dr. Primitive. We come into contact with Reca who successfully is able to track down Dr. Primitive (as he came into contact with him and was infected by his memetic virus). I personally can't even give a guestimate to when we will see Acheron again, but it looks like all the Galaxy Rangers are set up for a confrontation to help her dismantle Device IX and square off with Dr. Primitive.

FYI, while Welt was sick and recovering from *recreating his body with space magic*, he taught at CalTech. He met Himeko there, with Himeko being a prodigy, fascinated with science.
Through a series of events, they went to Mexico to investigate alien sightings, but the aliens were actually Welt’s secret weapons development program, and he tricked Himeko into believing it was a hoax.
After being faced with an impending invasion of the “Sky People”, a predatory civilisation that travels the stars in search of energy to consume, he met up with Himeko’s father to discuss a way to save Earth.
Welt and Himeko’s dad went to space on a shuttle to stop the invasion, which they did, but then Himeko’s dad tried to kill Welt and take his powers. This predictably ended in Himeko becoming an orphan and joining Schicksal, which put her on a path to an early grave.
i had low expectation for this patch considering what's coming next but HSR surprises me yet again

Btw. That 5:06:00 sequence. It wasn't adult Rappa. It was just about a child running around the hospital with those chains to slow her down, getting drugs that scorch your body and rebuild it, getting shocked by electric collar, getting thrown to the gorilla cage to fight them, every single day. The only reason she acts that way is because she was born in the probe like the firefly, and she spent her childhood being tortured. Her only entertainment was Ninja Manga, provided by her caretaker, which eventually helped her to escape.
It's pretty easy to just pass the story as a cool thing, but the deeper you get into lore books and npc dialogs, the sicker it gets. Galaxy Ranger found her, was literally seeing that bruised child in half burned clothes. Rappa saw herself as a Ninja, and she eventually became one.
