I gotta disagree I think origins has the best spot ever.
Why even open the jug door on ascension I just play without jug and if the monkey drops jug then you don't have to defend it because the door is closed and you don't need that area to access the rest of the map so if anything jug on ascension is probably the best place it could be. If you say I need jug early rounds to mid rounds on a map with the thundergun and infinite training spots and traps idk what to tell you

On ascension, I don’t defend quick or jug, use your quicks to make the machine disappear and camp at PHD until you get jug without ever opening the door

The problem on five was the spot where mule kick is didn’t exist when five came out until after moon and if you took mule kick out entirely and say they would’ve put jug where mule is now the spot where jug is currently would look so empty and awkward so from their pov i don’t blame them for placing it there it does look good in that spot but it is a pain in the ass
