  1. My favourites are probably Pokémon Arceus, DDV and Pokémon Scarlet.

The last two are buggy broken messes. But they are still so much fun. I have been playing them almost every day since their release.

I love Arceus, but I’m surprised at how I don’t seem to be gravitating back towards it. I finished the main story and just haven’t seemed to want to return.

  2. I love your channel and have found some really great games because of you… thank you so much for introducing me to such cozy games I never knew I needed in my life … joy

  3. I love Pokémon so much, but I was disappointed with it both because of the graphic and performance issues, but also because I loved the way of catching Pokémon in Arceus that I was hoping it would be the new way of catching onward. Unfortunately they didn’t transfer it to SV…

  4. Welp, I heard you talk about Endling again and had to spoil the ending myself. Cried like a baby. And now I will never play the game because I can't face that again. 😭

  5. The slightly unsettling gem Inscryption is one of the most calming and cozy games of this year.

It just came out and I live in the future/Finland, so I don't know if it's already available everywhere when I write this.

  6. Favorite game was Overcooked 2 (purchased on sale) and played with my entire family. It's not usually my kind of game, but the multiplayer provided days of play, laughing, arguing, and obsession to complete levels and get all the adorable chef avatars. My favorite single player game was Link's Awakening which I finally got around to playing though it was gifted to me last year. It was fun and adorable, like a cute little diorama.

  7. I don’t know if I can pick just one favorite! Hahah but definitely Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Cult of the Lambs, and Ooblets is up there! In 2023 I’m most looking forward to playing coral island, slime rancher 2, and Disney dream light valley! (And breath of the wild 2 if we actually end up getting it) I know the games are available now but I want to wait for the official release to get the full experience 🙂 I love your videos! I can’t wait to see what you play next!

  8. I loved Potion Permit, it helped me live my dream of pharmacology and environmental remediation that I was meant to do in my PhD. But my favourite game this year has to be Dragon Quest Builders 2. It’s so ridiculous, lots of little gaming Easter eggs, and I love it so much. I think I’m getting towards the end of the storyline and I’m excited to see what happens!

  9. I invested in a switch this year because I missed gaming; my childhood was nothing but video games. My first games on my switch included Jurassic World Evolution, HP Lego, and Pokémon Shield, which I heavily enjoyed. So, my boyfriend bought me Scarlet for our anniversary. I was thrilled, but when I started playing, I realized: I didn’t have any cozy games, and every game I had stressed me out, including Scarlet🫣. On Black Friday, I purchased Dreamlight Valley. And I am IN LOVE WITH IT. While my FPS is slow and not-so-polished, I haven’t experienced any crashing and, embarrassingly enough, I’ve put in over 45 hours since Black Friday with zero regrets 😅

  10. Wow I'm actually having so much fun with Pokémon (despite all the issues) that I thought you putting it in the c-tier was really harsh 😂 but well, I guess it's your list. Can't wait for the releases of 2023 🙂

  11. I herd fps drop in the new Pokémon games but I never had a frame rate drop just lagging in a few area, far away moving objects not being smooth, and a couple game crashes

  12. I think this was a pretty fair list, and I know Pokemon has big issues but I might be one of the few people that hasn’t had anything other than one Pokémon sticking out of a cliff 😂 So I’d be okay rating it A (not S) but that’s because of my own experience playing and people can only rate by their individual experience. It should never have been released in this state and I don’t think anyone can argue with that!
My favourite game this year (not released this year, but that’s when I played it) by far has been Ender Lilies – harder than Hollow Knight but man, it is perfection. Absolutely beautiful, incredible game play. Some bosses took me 4 days to get past and I still didn’t want to quit. Highly recommend, not cozy though 😂

  13. I love your recommendations. I don’t buy a game unless I see a video from you. The game I have been playing is Cozy Grove. It’s my favorite game so far. Helps me relax during my stressful days.

  14. Flawless ranking honestly. You're reasons for ooblets aside, video games are technically an art form and as with all art, sometimes they just resonate in the perfect frequency for you, which ooblets absolutely does. For us at least 😅

  15. I love seeing Beacon Pines up there, I'm so happy it was so successful and I'm very glad I backed it in kickstarter. It has beeen a ride, seeing all the development updates and how much effort they put into making the game and seeing how much everyone loves it is so rewarding. I'm very happy for them, they made a wonderful game.
Same with Ooblets, I bought it in Early Access as soon as it came out and I'm so glad people are loving it <3 I still haven't reached the end, I think I'm delaying it because I don't want the main story to end, but I might just finish it this winter to enjoy the coziness of the season.
Love your videos as always, Eowna, and I hope you have a wonderful time with your gaming!

  16. Currently playing Fire Emblem Three Houses (on your recommendation) and LOVE IT. The style of combat would have deterred me from playing it but I'm actually enjoying it and love every other aspect of the game. Other than that might have to be Disney Dreamlight Valley, despite the bugs I still love playing this game and cannot wait for the update.

  17. My favorite game has to be Genshin Impact. I don't know how many hours I have put in this game this year and the updates have been great in 2022. It's so beautiful, the lore is great and the music is amazing.

  18. With all due respect Nintendo switch sports is such an unfinished game and cash grab. 6 sports, no boxing or baseball . Tennis and badminton being so similar. Really felt like they dialled it in this time. Poor showing

  20. Agree so strongly with xenoblade chronicles 3 – so fun and so heart wrenching I am still recovering. I didn’t realize no man’s sky had come to the switch until your video. I got it as a result and I am loving it!! Thank you for your videos ❤

  21. Hey! Love your channel and I watch everything that comes out since I found this channel!! I must know, have you played The Binding of Isaac at all? It's very dark, but also very cute. Very sad and very hard. But also cozy. Every time you play, it's a different game because all items are rerolled. There's millions of things to unlock – items, characters, boses. You play room by room, starting in a basement and uou just go down and down. It's so fun, so addicting, the best indy game I have ever played. I have well over 1000 hours.

  22. Yeah, Harvestestella is a neat game. But definitely lack of creativity of marking the game as your own.

Also, I’ve been playing Persona 5 Royal as my second play, from the PS4 to the switch. So, I’m happy that I’m playing it via Portable version as a handheld game. So, I don’t have to worry about when I’m coming back to play on my console. Along with that, the P5R game needs a couple of replay for good reason, depending of course.

Also, one of the games I wi recommend, that’s if you haven’t played it, is Ni No Kuni 2. Since it’s almost like Harvestella on story. Sadly, bit of the graphics is slightly rendered a bit down for the Switch, after being ported over from the PS4 console.

  23. I want to like hokko life so bad but it’s so sloowwwwwwww. I’ve already played for 5 hours and I feel like I haven’t progressed that far. I wish you could change the speed of the day. I want to see what the rest of the game is like but I feel like I have no patience to get there lol 😅

  24. Best game for me is a tie between Wylde Flowers & No Man’s Sky. I finished Wylde Flowers last week and I’m still thinking about the story. Everything was just so well done: the story, the gameplay, the controls, the voice acting. Superb. It is a relatively short game but even that is great imho bc not every game needs to be 100+ hours with ongoing post-game releases. Wylde Flowers had a story to tell and the devs did an amazing job creating a memorable experience.

No Man’s Sky IS a game with hundreds of hours of content lmao. I love sandbox type games but I also don’t think every game needs to be one. I’ve been having a blast with it on all three major consoles and have just started an expedition on PS5. It’s what I play all day and wake up thinking of.

  25. love the videooo!!! also i find it kinda funny how stable my pokemon game is.. yes i do have moments where the frame rate is not the best but really not that bad or that often, and i haven't had a single crash. lucky for me.. but i totally understand your opinion.. i have seen people having alot more issues with the game than i have.. also got a swith a few months ago so i haven't played that many games, this list really helps with some games i have been looking out for to maybe buying 🤗🥳

also i think i lost the game… yeah definitly lost it.. did you lose the game? 🤭🤭🤭
