  1. I personally think that no perk limit should and will be a staple forever. I’ve never liked it ever since we first got new perks like stamin up and phd, and I don’t agree with the argument that having all perks should feel special. For me, it never has felt special since usually you’d get them from end of an ee, and wouldn’t really have time to use them since most people are done with the match after that – not to mention in earlier games you don’t even feel broken with all the perks. BO3 made that problem worse since you could just pop a perkaholic, and there’s nothing special about that. I don’t feel special getting 1 or 2 extra perks at all from side Easter eggs.

  2. Cold War should put a cooldown of like 2 rounds or so on the wonderfizz so you can’t just go and spam click and get all perks. It should be one perk only, and it should only contain perks that are not on the map already. Each map should have different perk machines and the rest go in the wonderfizz and then put a cooldown on it like I said. And maybe even give you a random one of those extra perks as well

  3. In my opinion the best system for getting more Perks was on Origins where you would shovel your ass off for a golden shovel to unlock more Perk Bottle to Permanently IN THAT GAME get more Perks.

When you go down you can buy ALL Perks back because of those Perk Bottles.

  4. BO2 and BO1 are the best because of the in game ways to earn extra perks – genuinely such a rewarding way to get more perks and feels more satisfying than simply popping a perkaholic

  5. Here's my dream perk system I feel like would be perfect. A mix of Infinite Warfare, Vanguard and Cold War. Basically you have five perk slots but you can refund perks to return some points and replace the perks you don't want with ones you do. On top of this, you have to rebuy them to upgrade them. But with this upgrades, they get more unique abilities or benefits to make the perks stronger. So then the perks are back to being a proper priority and the progression genuine are feels like you're getting more powerful as you go. P.S. you can add the Cold War perks become more expensive mechanic and there you go. This perk system and if we got the traditional point system? Match made in heaven.

  6. My biggest problem with the bo4 system namely elixirs is my dumb self when replaying all the ee kept trying to inspect me gun cause modern cod has rotted my brain with inspects

  7. I honestly could go either way on the perk limit, I also thought it was cool how you could upgrade perks in cold war. I think making them cost more to buy makes sense so it's expensive to buy them back. If there was a middle ground such as 5 or 6 perks with ways to get more in each map I wouldn't mind either. I say 5 as a solo player because QR is required unless you go perfect, however I'm pretty sure modern games don't even have a down cap.

  8. BO 1 is the best for me. Not perfect. It could be better, but is the best of what we have.
4 perk limit is a good thing. And ability to get more than 4 perks by doing something else. Like killing monkeys before they touch perkmachines, killing George, shuffling power up’s on Shang, Moon’s QEDs.

Although, I’d made some changes to it. Like making so if you hack max ammo on moon, would give you perk bottle instead of Fire Sale

in BO2 you also can get more than 4 perks on some maps, but not on all of them.

BO3 also has this problem. you can't really get more than 4 perks. Challenges is not the same, cause once you finish all of them and go down, there is no way to get it again

  9. My favorite is BO3 with the gobble gum that gives you an extra one on perk purchase

All perks, but you buy them instead off perksaholic, but isn't reliability going to keep them forever and buy them all again like Cold War no limit and same rising cost for all perks.

  10. I just recently decided to play cold war zombies, and i actually really like the out of game progression. As much as i love zombies. It never had the same pull to me as multiplayer. Because no matter how much time you put into the game, you dont feel like you're progressing. I think with zombies, using more rng is the way to hit the sweet spot. It sounds like black ops 6 is going to do this. Keeping the perk progression. But making you choose different upgrades, letting you play multiple ways with each perk. Its sort of the way i feel about loadouts. I dont hate loudouts. But other than making it too easy, it also removes rng. Its so fun watching someone pull a bad gun, or a wonder weapon from the box. Starting with your favorite gun and then getting the wonder weapon as a second is just not fun, it makes it the same every play session

  11. altar of covenants is the best perk system. its the best of the bo4 perk system in a wonderfizz like style, mixed with still having the essentials(actual perks), its just a shame you have to buy those essentials multiple times, if not for that itd be my fav perk system in a game.

  12. The fact that my dude put bo4s perk system over the OVERALL IMPROVEMENT of the perk system of bocw is actually asinine- but whatever bro have yo own opinion that's totally fine but from a definitive standpoint bocw is overall the better perk system-

  13. I think it should be 4 perk limit, and the weaker perks give you like 50 Health increase (half a hit). That way you could skip jug, and get more health from mule kick and stamin up or dead shot. But jug would still be good.

  14. i don’t understand the argument of it being too easy to get cold war perks when the scaling price becomes hard to deal with even at higher rounds, it makes free perks very valuable when you already have like 4 or 5 perks equipped and makes loading up on perks after you die cost like 40k for all perks or ~15k+ for just the core essentials (i agree wunderfizz could’ve been implememtwd better tho. also it’s very rare to open pap at round 5 on DM, most people aren’t seeing the wunderfizz at round 15 that’s just not as common as you say it is)

  15. I mean since bo6 is already gonna have an upgrade system for gun rarities if they wanted to add perk progression in the game maybe you could also upgrade your perk lvls in the same spot you upgrade weapon rarities which I personally think would add cool interactions with the augment system
