  1. Some thoughts on placements:
Blade Knight – such an impactful card in Goat that deck building had to change to play around it. Deserving A rank.

Blue Eyes White Dragon – this card is used in the dragon turbo deck in edison. White stone of legend, cards of consonance and trade-in made playing 3 BEWD optimal for deep draw variants. Add super rejuvination into the mix and dragon deck will end turns will full hands. BEWD will hit the field easily enough thanks to Red-Eyes Darkness Metal. Very strong deck. B still fair but I'd call it a B+.

Buster Blader – Played as a 1 of in modern buster blader decks I believe. Probably deserves to be above blue eyes toon and black skull in terms of playability.

CED – Should be an S tier for this alone tbh.

Command Knight – Spicy pick for C. The big problem is there are too many warriors that trade 1-for-1 and the deck doesn't put many monsters on the field. Can boost blade knight to 2400 but that's situational. Card reads like it should be good but sadly isn't quite there.

Dark magician – C at best. They made it playable eventually but truth be told my favourite DM deck is actually the 2014 XYZ rank 4 deck that used Elemental Hero Prisma with Dark Magic Attack to wipe the opponents backrow before committing to rank 4 summons. Very funny deck.

Gearfried – Love this card, rally want to experiment with it in formats where Hidden Armoury is legal. Despite the potential the card has for nonsense it probably is a legit C tier due to a lack of utility later on.

Injection Fairy Lily – B tier. Boss of Rat Box decks. Legit playable in goat and Edison. Outs almost any monster if you can pay the cost and remains a threat after. It's like a kinetic soldier you can use on any type.

Invader of Darkness – F tier. Card has never been playable. One of the biggest middle finger secrets.

jinzo and IO – Agreed with A. IO honestly strong enough to be an S tier card.

Lava Golem – This card will never ever be bad. Straight up immune to power creep. A tier.

Magic Cylinder – One of the best -1's in the entire game. C tier.

Red-Eyes – Konami couldn't decide what to do with the card. It's carried by broken cards like dragoon. Might actually be worse than Buster Blader as you don't even use it to make dragoon in modern anymore.

Summoned Skill – C tier. It was good for a very, very short amount of time in the early game.

Vampire Lord – Hot take: this is a C. The period where it was strongest was pretty much straight after release and even then it has fallen out of favour in modern DM play.

XYZ – ABC is everything this card needed to be. Even D would feel generous, how do you play it consistently?

Good list. Nice thought experiment on how much cards can change in power level depending on meta also.
