Ranking ALL 96 Tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

After almost two years, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass DLC has finally come to a close, putting an end to the game’s decade-long journey. This definitive version of Mario Kart 8 has a whopping 96 tracks, eclipsing every other game in the series with its lineup. But what good are said tracks if they’re not arbitrarily shoved into a list, right? Let’s get them ranked!

  1. I love Mario circuit 3 on 200cc. 50-150cc yeah it’s awful I understand 95th. But on 200cc man the drifts and the shortcuts and the go kart feel makes it not a top 20 or even top 50 track, but a darn fun one I’m happy to play.

  2. Hmmm let me think about my top and bottom 10

    Worst:
    Sky Garden (Super Boring)
Donut Plains 3 (Not fun to play on in the slightest)

    Super Bell Subway (Just… No!)
    Mute City
    Big Blue
    Squeaky Clean Sprint
    Toad’s Turnpike
    Athens Dash

    Best:
    Sunshine Airport (Y)
    Yoshi Valley (Y)
    Riverside Park (Y)
    Thwomp Ruins (Y)

  3. Ngl 90$ for 96 courses is 1 course for 0.94$ that's a steal counting most arcade games are 0.50$ but when you get Mario Kart you get much better graphics unlimited replayability online play a lot of characters and even different modes this is a lot for a game but the value is crazy

  4. Putting cringe all the way up at 16th place while actually good tracks like Rosalina's Ice World and Amsterdam Drift are ranked towards the bottom of the list has to be the biggest L I've seen in a while. It astounds me how so many people think an oval with annoying music, item spam and cringe theming is anything close to good.

  5. I know a lot of people had reservations about the Booster Course Pass but personally I really enjoyed the journey to Mario Kart 9. 8 new characters, 48 new and returning tracks (Counting Tour tracks as new ones, that's even more than 16 new tracks), balancing tweaks, new mechanics like custom items and lightning not breaking your glide, and you can still play ALL of the Mario Kart 8 content plus its DLC. All that for 1/3 of the price of a full game? Just stunning. I honestly wouldn't be upset if they took this same approach with the next console release, that would mean 144 tracks to choose from!

  6. Hot take: 3DS Rainbow Road is SO overrated. Like, I get the feelings most fans have with this one, but to me, the track is a bit boring. Just a bit. Especially the second section. Nothing can top Wii's Rainbow Road

  7. while i’d never call it my favorite track, i do genuinely like ice ice outpost. Unique theming that isn’t just “ice”, great music, and tricky shortcuts that feel very satisfying to pull off.

i may be the only fan on this track smh 💔

  9. Pre-video: My top 10 in order from 10 to 1 are Singapore Speedway, Shy Guy Falls, Piranha Plant Slide, Waluigi Stadium, Maple Treeway, Neo Bowser City, Electrodrome, N64 Rainbow Road, Mount Wario, and 3DS Rainbow Road. Honorable mentions to DK Mountain and Cloudtop Cruise. Here's hoping they do well in the ranking.

Post-video: Your top two is my top two, and the rest got enough respect that I can sleep at night. Still wish more people appreciated Neo Bowser City as much as I do though.
