Welcome to another episode of the opinion corner! Just like with Wave 1, I thought it would be fun to talk about my thoughts and opinions on the 8 new tracks added in the second wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, and then rank them on a scale of 1 to 10. I’m still working on the live first thoughts video for the main channel, so stay tuned for that video as well!
Let me know what course from Wave 2 was your favourite in the comments below!
If there’s anything that can be improved, please let me know in the comments!

Thanks for watching! What are YOUR favourite Booster Course Pass Wave 2 tracks?
I’m honestly so incredibly shocked that I loved Sydney sprint and snow land as much as I did
Bro New York Minute is a 8.5
I was kinda over Waluigi Pinball and wasn't excited to be playing it often online since I knew people would pick it a lot, but I ended up liking how it plays a lot. It doesn't feel the same as in previous games, so it's no longer stale to me!
I completely agree when you say Mario Kart 8 needed a course like Mario Circuit 3, I like its addition a lot.
Sky High Sundae was a bit of a let down… For all the same reasons you mentioned.
Mushroom Gorge however, I think is the best version the track has ever been, so it was interesting hearing a differing opinion! Including both the left and right side in the cave while still having the glider mushroom was such a needed decision, and the mushrooms at the beginning being back makes me happy. It looks great, and the gap cut makes me happy. The mushrooms are scaled nicely to fit the game and definitely make it easier since the gaps between each mushroom isn't as big anymore. Mushroom Gorge was my most wanted track after Shroom Ridge, and this version really speaks to me. They did great with this one.
I have a lot to say, I'm sure, but I'm just a silly little commenter so I think I'll stop there. Over all, I love wave 2 a lot more than wave 1, and I still really love wave 1 for what it brought to the game (:
