Participate in thrilling sniper missions and get the most realistic battlefield experience!
On June 13th, 1944, in the French town of Villers-Bocage, south of Normandy hidden in the bushes a beast stalks its prey. A Tiger tank of the 2nd Company of the 101st SS Heavy Panzer Battalion. Standing atop its cupola is the most decorated German Panzer ace in history; Lieutenant Michael Wittmann aka The Black Baron. A reckless attack or a daring tank battle. Wittman’s actions at Villers Bocage became disputed and legendary. There are many sources that conflict for this story but we tried to pull together a narrative from the many sources that are out there. Any errors are our own.

3:51 gives off War Thunder vibes, that's how you know Yarnhub did such a good job
I started watching and just for half a second I thought, oops, I clicked on the wrong video. This is real footage from somewhere and it sure can't be ww2 because it's in color, but I realized, "Nope. Yarnhub is just that good."
when a tiger gets mad grrrrrr roar
If this is the most possibly accurate you could have made this story I wonder what the Nazi propaganda was like, this on its own is epic and should've sufficed enough for the German morale (though I hate to call a Nazi epic) the propaganda must have said he destroyed 80 tanks or something, destroyed the whole town I dunno
We know what happened to Michael Whittman and his crew!
My great uncle was in one of those half tracks he was captured soon after
Pov me playing war thunder
The rampaging Tiger got rampaged itself by a firefly waiting in ambush shortly after, and Whitman and his metals went flying off to oblivion after internal explosions ignited it's magazine.
Yay, new Yarnhub vid
The errors I see are in your narrative, errors present in previous videos as well.
"Joined the highway"… it was not carelessness, it was an attempt to preserve the gearbox of the TIger.
That and some of the responses from the British soldiers which you made to sound like error or cowardness, they weren't… all organic human errors.
The Firefly Sherman incident is actually bad luck on one side, and gearbox issues on the other (not functioning reverse).
And last "shooting to foot soldiers or tank crew's on foot was not hate or anger or war crimes… the mission was a suicide one, their chance of escape was on foot and as such they need a clear path to do so.
You are not very impartial to historical facts and logic… not sure why: a year ago this was a different story.
And FYI my father and uncles fought in the war, I have little to no care for Japan in those years (Germany was less bad, geez)… FYI I said
Cheers
I mean it is called a TIGER
0:46 pause at this moment and tell me that this is not menacing
Im suprised how fast the turret traverse is since its not that fast irl
Wait. That Tiger was 222.
I thought Wittmann commanded 007.
Maybe I’m wrong. But as always videos are a work of art.
Angry tiger
no suprise that the germans had the greatest tanks in war but why are they so inpenitrable?
When I saw the title of this vid all I thought about is a tiger tank taking steroids and bench pressing
By far one of the best videos you have ever produced. Great pace, sound and script… really made me feel the desperation of the allies, as well as pride for the Tiger crew. It almost felt like they were to good guys! And we the watcher were rooting for them
Excellent video and well told history as usual! Keep up the awesome work!
Sounds like a War Thunder battle.
its a german kolabanov
The courage of young lions, facing down a tiger…..Knowing they have no chance of even surviving. But willing to stand and fight anyway. Incredible.
I loved the last part
Where it shows the tanks burning
