  1. The moment we drafted Darnell Washington I thought we would add a healthy dose of play-action. It’s a natural mismatch: Kenny can pick Run/Pass presnap based on the defensive personnel alone. Can you please pass this info along to Matt Can’tada? Also can we see Calvin Austin in a screen (instead of jet sweep)?

  2. All tomlin had to do was just build gradually off of last year.instead all they did was talk about explosive play .they got away from the run so early.kenny isn't an elite QB but they are not doing him any favors.

  3. Around 34 minute mark both DK & RAmon talk about being more dominating physically over the other team. Both talk about it as an attitude and mind set. Both overlook the fact of how vital scheme fit is for dominating physically and Matt C has a horrible scheme for that.

  4. It was 17 to nothing in the first quarter with plenty of time to go there was no need to panic…. But that's just what we did… By the time the first quarter and halfway through the second quarter was through our defense was gas between San Francisco's long and short PHYSICAL drives and our 3 and outs …. Yeah maybe Kenny did get intimidated the boy got knocked almost in the next week…. But that's when you put a hot poker in behind some of those big butts that you have on the old line… And say rush!…..

  5. Everybody fell for the hype train of kenny looking “improved” in the preseason, when in reality there wasn’t all that much improvement from what he looked like in the preseason his rookie year. Yes he played with the ones in the preseason this year, but the opponents were still playing their 2s and 3s for the most part same as his rookie year. 8 TDs through 14 starts is not going to get it done in the NFL. Everybody talked about how brutally bad russel wilson was last year but he still had over double the TDs kenny had. You win football games by scoring more points than your opponent and thats hard to do if your quarterback averages less than 7 points per game, even if that 7 points comes in the last 2 minutes of the game. Tough situation for kenny not getting a lot of help from his OL or running game, but its no excuse. He’s gotta pull out some kind of big game with multiple TDs at some point before the bye or I see a storm brewing in that locker room that could result in trades being requested and a very bad year. Other than a few late game heroics last season he hasn’t shown anything to suggest he’s the long term answer. If he can’t find a way over the “1 TD, 1-2 INT” statline this season I can’t imagine the steelers rolling into training camp next year with him still tabbed as the de facto starter

  6. One thing I have noticed is that Kenny and A-Rob are still getting to know each other..took Trubisky several games when A-Rob came to Chicago. Kenny needs to lean on Robinson as a safety blanket. He will deliver.

  7. 10 runs was not enough. I don’t care if they are stuffing it you have to keep them honest. People saying it’s a waste of down as if we didn’t waste every other snap trying to throw verts.

  8. Hey DK, I dont know of you noticed this but on the broadcast, they showed Mitch, who was kneeling in front of Kenny, having a serious conversation with him. Right after that, we scored the first TD. I've been wondering what Mitch said to Kenny. Is that something you could ask either one of them?

  9. In week 12 of 2005, the eventual Super Bowl champion Steelers lost by 20 to the Indianapolis Colts, & Ben had a worse game by every metric than Kenny did vs the 49ers. The '05 Colts & '23 49'ers were/are probably the most talented teams in the NFL during their respective seasons.

This isn't "finding comfort" & it's certainly not implying they're going to make the Super Bowl/Division/Playoffs, but it is a little perspective that made me go from still pouting about it Tues morning, to calming down & realizing that it's 1 game & all hope is not lost.

  10. (A) 1. Kenny had NO reps with the 1s last year because sorry ass Mitch was QB1 so he LITERALLY was THROWN INTO a live NFL game with NO WARNING as a ROOKIE and STILL crushed & his trajectory steadily increased as the year ended. 2. KP has "It" as we have seen, just not on a consistent basis at this point. 3. If the Steelers had the O-line that the 69ers had, then hell, KP would've have Hella Mega confidence, the time to go through all of his progressions AND would've also looked like a HOF QB like Purdy did on Sunday!!!! If you know football, all of the aforementioned is pretty obvious. Don't phuck up on Monday night next week though. (B) Wow, Gunner is our WR4, we're phucked & HAVE to Pound the Rock. (C) We HAVE to pull up Breiden Fehoko from the practice squad to plug up the Middle Run-wise since Cam is out 8 plus weeks. (D) Phuck Matt Canada Forever!!! (E) Run Left with Washington & Seumalo. (F) P2 shut the phuck up about getting picks & just play, please. You got Hella Mega Embarrassed & scored on TWICE!!! (G) FIRE Matt Canada NOW!!! Here We Go STEELERS, Here We Go!!!

  11. My daughter ran track in college at Northwood University and during the National Qualifier for the 400m after coming out of the second turn was on the straight and was glancing back and next thing you know she tumbled to the ground. She said right before her Achilles ruptured she was glancing back because she thought one of the girls behind her was hitting her with their spikes. Just like you said Mon. And that is what we’ve heard from everyone who’s had it happen.

  12. I do still believe in this team because I have been watching football my whole life and I refuse to believe that a week 1 stinker will be the end of any team. Every team no matter how great or talented a team is still have bad games period. The Steelers will rebound from this beat down because it happens and it's part of the game man . Lets go Steelers. I wouldn't want to have to play this team after the 49ers pretty much beat them in every fashion. Let's go Steelers

  13. Kenny Pickett' has 1 bad game and this is how you can find bandwagon fan's because 1 game isn't a season there's still 16 games , Pickett just needs to hold his head high and put the game against the 49ers behind him and he definitely will. Remember all the people who gave up on this team. Let's go Steelers

  14. I'm really confused about how the league is going about throwing flags for roughing the passer? My point being that I think they only call it when they want? How about the play when Pickett' hit Calvin Austin with a pass on the only scoring drive but why was the 49ers defenseman allowed to pretty much tackle Austin by reaching into his helmet which could have ended very ugly for the 2nd year reciever? And no flag? Not that a penalty would have changed anything in the outcome but that's a play that should be shown to the league because the chance for a horrible injury was definitely present. If they are truly trying to make the game safer as far as head injuries but don't even throw a flag so that defenseman now feels like that is an acceptable tackle? And now the potential for a player to be injured goes way up? I just wish they would get it right and fair but with the gambling going on around sports makes it almost impossible. Just wanted to get that off my chest. Let's go Steelers

  15. In my true opinion that question about did the Steelers give up on the running game too early? In my opinion they definitely did abandon the running game too early especially seeing how Kenny Pickett' wasn't his usual self as far as the passing game , but who knows maybe if they could have stuck to their running game they could have at least stuck with it just to try and give the defense some needed breaks here and there, ? This team will get it right, and if you're going to get your ass kicked I guess week 1 is better than losing a game like this mid season or going into the end of the season.

  16. It's a Marathon not a Sprint plus Kenny got his Bell rung and definitely missed plays that should have been made by Kenny… If he wasn't a concussion then he was Scared and it showed up on Tape. CD DISC whatever they say today 😂 .
