  1. If AP is fired, what happens to the defense if they don’t bring back PG? It will depend on the d coordinator, but usually they bring their system and play style which means starting over almost on defense with a few key guys like Crosby and Wilkins

  2. thx guys. some are afraid of losing out on Sanders or Cam, but i don’t mind Allar (we’ll see how the playoffs go), even if he’s raw. has the physical tools, young, but seems to have improved as the season continued

  3. Telesco came in to an organization already in place. I still think Telesco listened to AP and the people here and signed Minshew. I know AP said Minshew beat them last year. Until I hear it was a Telesco decision I will think it was everyone else.

  4. …a reasonable and rational conversation…but…AOC is only flippin’ 17 games into his career…he may turn out to be nothing but mediocre…but…do we definitely know that NOW?…hardly anyone is a higher-level NFL QB less than 17 starts into their career!…FFS…anyway…great conversation…just want to put in my 1/2 cent…

  5. There are ppl that think AOC is the guy now. I want to see what he does these last 5 games. But if he plays like he did against KC and continues to get better, he could be the guy. What disqualifies him outside of the lack of mobility?

  6. The problem with drafting a qb this year is that the qb class is weak. It would be better to take Travis hunter and roll with AOC. What are the odds that these qbs are gonna be significantly better than AOC

  7. AP isn’t getting fired. And I’m with you guys, he can’t evaluate the talent on the roster and he’s also terrible at finding coaching talent. I can see next season being a rerun of this season unfortunately.

  8. AOC looks okay now that Getsy, Zamir, Peat, James, Whitehair are all gone. But he looked bad in Denver and vs Steelers when those guys were in place. He would have got killed behind that OL if he started the season.

  9. Sound to me like y’all expecting Bill Walsh. Last I checked this organization been crap for 40 years, you gonna blame that on AP too? Has it occurred to anyone that maybe he is doing what he’s told or suggested? Maybe he stated his case, it was overruled, and now he’s covering for whoever pushed for this direction? That doesn’t excuse his inexperience or work ethic, but that’s not what I expected. I expected him to not loose the team, and get upper management to trust him enough to let his ass coach. And I think he’s succeeding. Y’all just might wanna cut him a break. He’s a Raider not some chump.
