The echoes of “AP!” reverberated through the stadium with just 1:01 remaining on the clock. Raiders fans, united with the players, made their voices heard, proclaiming their desire for Antonio Pierce to transition from interim to full-time coach.
But it wasn’t just the chants that made a resounding statement on that Sunday’s game. The Las Vegas team showcased their dominance over the Denver Broncos, securing a 27-14 victory. Aidan O’Connell took charge, delivering 244 passing yards and two touchdowns, while Zamir White powered through with 112 rushing yards, leaving the opposition in his wake. The Raiders’ relentless pass rush added to their triumph.
This win marked the eighth consecutive victory over their AFC West rivals for the Raiders, their supremacy evident in the 10th triumph out of the last 11 games. Remarkably, they remained undefeated with a flawless 4-0 record in their home ground of Las Vegas.
With both teams concluding their seasons with an 8-9 record, falling short of the playoffs, the focus in Las Vegas now shifts to the decision that rests in the hands of owner Mark Davis. Will he elevate Pierce to the permanent coaching position or opt to bring in fresh leadership from outside the organization? Since Pierce stepped in for Josh McDaniels on Halloween night, the Raiders have admirably achieved a 5-4 record, making this choice all the more crucial.
Harbaugh, ahead of his Wolverines’ appearance against Alabama in the Rose Bowl, the semifinal for the college football playoffs, hired prominent NFL agent Don Yee to represent him. The news was reported by Adam Schefter and Pete Thamel of ESPN. Schefter tweeted early Sunday morning: “Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has hired football agent Don Yee to represent him, sources tell me and @PeteThamel. Amongst others, Yee represents Tom Brady and Sean Payton and has deep NFL ties.” Bill Belichick, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn are currently the leading candidates for the head-coaching vacancy given their “extensive postseason and/or Super Bowl experience.”
The Chargers arguably will be the most appealing coaching vacancy for candidates this offseason for one main reason—the team already has a superstar-in-the-making at quarterback in the 25-year-old Justin Herbert.

Was up wasted you think if graham is gone and they hire harbaugh then we can AP for defenss cordunator
Is not bad problem if we looking a head coach we got 2 good canidates in A.p. and harbaugh
I dont think the wifey would want to go to chicago she is from vegas and she is in harbaugh to gome so
🏴☠️☠️
Tangible proof is what could motivate a player, maybe play above their talent or bring out that hidden talent
Wasted!
First off, thanks for what you do. You make all the points and hit all the fine points. One thing about this fan base. We are passionate. I have seen guys get absolutely blasted for speaking on what they feel. Unfortunately, we live in a society where dancing to the beat of your own drum carries consequences.
Im not afraid to say, I want Harbaugh. Its no knock on Pierce. I dont have any ill feelings to those that think Pierce is the guy. Ive watched Jim have success everywhere he goes…even so called "smart schools". Thats a resume that holds weight for me. Ive seen him do it and have no reason to think he wouldnt do it again.
I watches AP roll these guys out and squander our bleek playoff hopes away to a pitiful Indy team. Raider Nation rallys around every win. Unfortunately, those losses are conveniently drowned out.
It would be different if he had us out here kicking ass and taking names. Win the Colts games bring out a Cinderella story and we have something to talk about.
At the end of the day, it WAS a losing season and we have NOTHING at quarterback and even if we get one…whos going to groom him? Jim has shown he can turn a pinto into a Mustang. He had Alex freaking Smith looking like a decent qb. No knock on AP or his supporters but I want the proven experienced winner.
After John Madden and Tom Flores, nothing has worked. Why not AP.
Jj mc carthy is ballin in nati chamipionship
What's good wasted if we're kicking russes tires what you think of cam newton
I liked Del Rio and what he had going. Too many spur of the moment signings and MD trying to make a splash. Do what's right for the silver and black. Takes a certain kind of dude. I think AP fits like a glove. Give him a chance to bring his own staff and shit in.
Finally someone mentioned the bears are very very attractive right now for Harbaugh
Love AP, yet Jim Harbagh is experienced and proven long term winner.
It's Mark's team and he would be smart to do his due diligeence in a prudent manner. He doesn't owe AP anything but respect.
You are so right . . . we have learned and have been programmed to settle. We need to broaden those shoulders and start expecting and demand More!
Herbert is Derek Carr the sequel
Unceremoniously BLOCKED
Man f**** any Russell Wilson bullshit talk
People mostly judge On what they see, no research. I think, because he is vertically challenged, and looks horrible in that ugly ass Bronco uni. It makes him look fat and over the hill plus the let's ride thing was sooo lame people think he is trash.
AP is a winner 5-4 baby and beat Andy Reed and Sean Payton along the way. AP doesn't just lead men he molds men
Harbaugh would be another huge mistake just like mcdumbass was
There's only one man for the job, that's AP
Let Wasted cook on the Russell Wilson topic! 🔥
"I've never seen anything like it?" – uh Jon Gruden in the Oakland Coliseum, bruh but I get you, Wasted.
How's about Harbaugh stays in Michigan
No More 70 year Old Retreads. Look at Houston and Detroit with Player Coaches its AP or Else !
Mcdaniels Resume had Superbowls on it , Where did that get us ?
Ziegler looked like a High Powered CEO with SB rings….Where is He Now ?
I definitely don't want Russell Wilson. Time to move forward not backwards! They need to go get there superstar Qb! As far as coach, Haurbaugh is great but need a young minded headcoach. I think AP deserves a chance! Just need a new OC and build up that Oline! However Mark Davis will screw it up!
Fans in Oakland loved gruden he would run over to the black hole, actually AP reminds me of a gruden with there fire, one guy more offense and other more defense
you are definitely not buggin about Russell Wilson. Could have that rich gannon effect. What do you think of Tyler Huntley? the back up to Lamar Jackson…I like that kid as well even as a backup..we on the same page Wasted..i just heard you say Russ is like bringing in Rich gannon after i made my comment. Great analogy..Cheers!
Ur wrong cause those big time players the captains vouched for bissachia too. Go back and look. Bissachia got screwed for a big name
