Koonce has played special teams since McDaniels arrived at least. He had 260 ST reps last year 3 more than Brandon Bolden, 9 fewer than Roderic Teamer
with 4 DTs drafted in last 2 years, Matthew Butler is the worst of them I think he's gone
@Boogie Wilkerson played a lot on special teams but the only standout play was a kick he got down first on coverage and drew a hold. He's tough big fast and can block so he has has special teams potential. Also his contested catch percentage hasn;t been strong

Matthew Butler definitely getting cut. He was a liability in run game. Need a veteran depth LB. Defense is much more talented and deeper than last year, but last year was near historic bad. Feels like Defense will be 7 points better, but offense may be 7 points worse. Hope I'm wrong. Good sign Amik might not make roster, DBs not perfect but a lot of guys who can be solid. Pray for no injuries at QB or LB.

Horstead didn't get lucky. It's just the coaches know more than you. He's always been a guy that has hands ,body control and has had good games
