3. Clarifying ! It is true that sreng does want its territory back – however it’s also important to note that their territory was taken from them following the raids that they inflicted on faerghus (specifically gautier territory which existed but was smaller) . It’s speculated that Lambert initially started the northern campaign because he finally had enough/given up shortly after the raids (esp since it killed a pregnant margravine gautier) . This is especially noticeable since the campaign only began being planned a few months after the raids PLUS it was directly after the plagues (aka where lambert lost his first wife) so honestly faerghus was also out of supplies as well.

4. Sreng is such a messy situation in Fodlan because if you bother to read the history text, you learn Gautier territory was established BECAUSE they took the southern half of Sreng back in ~895. Prior to that Fraldarius and Blaiddyd were the north border territories. It's a very controversial land war that isn't just "lol savages be savages bro." The Sreng hostage situation is also mentioned in the texts and his name is Leif. He was subjected to the same situation Petra faced by being sent as a Brigid hostage to the Empire. But because he isn't playable he just gets villainized as a "snow demon" that Matthias had to take care of and educate…. and framing it as a privilege bc the Faerghus ppl are nice enough to help him to read! Even ol racist muppet man agrees!

   … and then when the hostage understandably resents being a hostage and runs, Matthias is like "I shouldn't have educated him look how he betray us :(" and the others agreeing implicitly is just???? This is esp egregious when we CAN GET PETRA, who has the same issue but is a "nice poc" so she's fine ig???? The tokenism kills me sm esp when the game REALLY is trying to say how tolerant Faerghus is and pull that kind of casual racism/xenophobia. Sure Lambert had the grand dreams of peace but it runs hollow when one of your best friends is this redhead muppet bitch. Yes his first wife got killed but what about countless other lives taken in the conflicts? I just don't have any attachment to this guy unlike some fans so eh

   At least Sylvain is showing he isn't his father here…despite that Shez support about magic fireorb guns 😂

6. I really don't get what's causing the green units to randomly losing hp when no major enemies are around them.

   Also, about Margrave Gautier not using the Lance of Ruin, this is my one big complain about this game. The fact that every class is locked to one weapon type (Unless that class can use magic) is annoying. Like you can see if you're trying to use any females in this game in the fighter paths (Armored knight, Brigand, and Archer), they never can use fist weapons, yet they have combat arts for them? What's worst is that they can level up fist ranks as well. Idk if they can use fist weapons in the fighter class but if they can, that's a big nerf. Aside from that I hope when any DLC do come, they allow us to use any weapons as long as the class itself can use it and add in the War Cleric so females can punch people. One side note is that apparently there's a hero in your base at some point (don't know which path) but there's no hero enemies at all, which is weird.
