  1. Greed and selfishness have become so pervasive in professional sports that when we see a player absent those things, we wonder why. Maybe Waller is just very talented player with some class. Same goes for Derek Carr.

  2. Not that I want him to retire soon or anything, but Waller would be a great broadcaster. He speaks clearly and articulates his point well, not to mention him being a tight end he can speak on different aspects of the game than all the QBs in the booth.

  3. Well, obviously there was an issue between the two of them. Carr took a veiled shot at Waller wanting more touches. That said, like professionals, it got fixed. Waller missed six games after the minor controversy, and it just gave them some space and time to fix not necessarily not being on the same page.

  4. I love how all of the players always speaks on DC as their leader and the one calling the shots. That's because this locker room all look up to him and respect him as a leader and a person. πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸ˜€πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ

  5. I think that's a weird take. He's definitely going to play this year and bank on having a career year with competent play callers, he's definitely going to get another contract davante just got that huge contract and after this season waller will ask for one. He's not in a good bargaining position to ask for one now after last year even after he came back from injury. we're gonna have 3 1k yard receivers this year and waller is gonna be 1 of them, so he's definitely going to want to renegotiate his contract after the 2022 season.
