  1. Do people not realize Hoyer is there for Oconnell?

4OC would be much less successful without his mentorship.

None of us want to see him on the field. But theres more to a locker room and team production than what happens on sundays.

  2. Amik has never been a key special teams player. He got pulled and deactivated as rookie, then the last couple years they were banged up at times at DB so he got pulled from special teams because of that and because I don't remember him doing anything special on ST

  3. the LBs are terrible. Glad you think Masterson has improved a lot. Bolton has also shown he can play LB has the tools and explosive athlete but got all of 1 rep last year on D in real games. Burney is not a good special teams player at this point he can't tackle or block and he's obviously not a returner. Need to add a vet. Divine Deablo and Spillane barely have one full season of NFL starts between them and 3rd "starting" LB is Masterson or maybe Bolton but so far he's only proven as a ST player in real games

  4. Having Justin Herron & Jordan Meredith as backup O-Lineman is disturbing. … I don't know, .. maybe Meredith can also play backup center. … I don't see why they need Herron, .. Kolton Miller goes down you can move Eluemenor to LT & put Munford at RT.

  5. Interesting comment about Tucker playing outside. I wonder if McDaniels has a “super trips” formation in mind with Tae going across the midfield , Renfrow breaking ankles to the outside (or inside for that matter!) and Tucker as the burner tearing up deep.

  6. Still not feeling it on interior d-line and lb’s. Secondary definitely upgraded but, just like baseball, defense starts up the middle. The DE’s are a stellar group. Wilson is going to be a force once he’s properly coached up. They’ve got to stabilize run defense and create interior pressure to keep the heat off the secondary- especially in the red zone. Offense still top 10, but dee has to get off the bottom of the league for this team to progress. Feel like a broken record. Been saying this for 20+ years. Never seems to happen. Just how many nobody’s have we been through at DT? This looks like more of the same.

  7. AOC preseason stats are way better than all 1st round qbs not even close and not considered to be a future franchise qb…..WHY? AOC is more pro ready right now than any of the 1st round qbs. I hang my head in shame….when they picked him i screamed WTF RU FING KIDDING ME….boy was i wrong.

  8. Disappointing to hear who they kept over Damien Williams at RB. I assumed he showed enough in preseason that other than Jacobs, he is the only other RB that has the ability to utilize the cutback effectively.
