Cats can share bowls, however some don't put up with that and will defend a bowl as their own.
On a practical note it's also a bad idea, because there may be a moment when you want a certain cat to eat certain foods (and medicines), or you want to monitor the cat's food intake (when they might eat too much or too little).
Of course in this game it's probably fine.

17:48 Instead of having one universal currency such as dollars or credits, the game has multiple currencies that are obtained from specific customers. And different items appear to only be bought with certain types of currency. Either that or some of that currency appears to be actual crafting materials needed for certain items. So I am guessing this sets up a gameplay mechanic where you have to attract certain customers to get the specific currency you are low on. Interesting.

24:41 So you can't just obtain the stray cat in one go. It appears you have to cumulatively pet it enough to get it to stay, which may take several days. I wonder if there is something in the skill tree which speeds up this process. I also wonder if you can pet multiple cats or work on obtaining multiple stray cats simultaneously.
