  1. i think the late game PvP is where this game is going to live or die. They clearly phoned in the PvE as just a leveling mechanic to focus on the PvP stuff (IMO). I love the crafting, but I'm very much a gatherer in survival games.

  2. I don't want to play the game, it doesn't seem appealing to me at all.
From what I've seen you go around, killing boars & chopping down trees. If I wanted to do that, I might as well install Terraria.

  3. preordered and played 125hrs of the beta absolutly loved it and could not wait for it to be released.
when the 28th came i downloaded, queued for 20min to play for 30min, and lost interest LOL
im going to wait a few more weeks to allow the queues to go down.

  4. New world is fun, but it just needs… more. more weapons, more armours, more weapon skills/ passives, more things to craft, etc.

Like iv been enjoying my time playing it, but everything feels super stretched out to hide the fact that there's only like, 5 points of progression.

And there NEEDS to be more weapon skills you can unlock as you progress, or at least have passives that change the skills you use as you progress. I unlocked the 3 skills for my weapon in like 2 hours, and now im like 30-40 hours in and iv been using the exact same skills the entire time. so its getting pretty stale.

  5. The one thing stopping me from buying the game is the lack of enemy variety, I already find Albion Online doesn't have enough, and that already has like four times as much

  6. It's a nice game worth spending some time on after work.
It doesn't feel too competitive, yet it (can be) time consuming and relaxing at the same time.
I am currently playing pretty much primarily for crafting/farming ( I believe I am 10 levels or so higher than the level suggested for the main storyline).
I will probably be doing some quest progression during weekends. Levelling slowly, enjoying the game.

There isn't really something else I'd like to play right now.
Far cry 6, meh it's not for me. I don't like the aesthetics of Final fantasy. I am not going back to WoW after a 3 year break.
I have Red dead redemption 2 purchased like a year ago.. I might play this one too If I my free time allows it.
I also wanna play Assassins Creed Odyssey but playing 3 RPGs at the same time (one of them being an MMO) is impossible (heck I can't even play New World the way I'd like to).

Anyway, for anyone thinking about it, If you enjoy MMO's and 3rd person RPG's, I believe you will have fun in New World (and it only costs 40€, one time purchase).

  7. It should come as no surprise to you that we need a New World Leveling series that spans a decade. Do it, Cren. I don't have time to play MMOs anymore but I logged into New World for about 20 minutes on launch day. I only got to use melee combat weapons and wasn't too impressed. I was hoping to watch you do some ranged / magic based attacks. Cheers.
