there is another convoy destination far to the south of the map btw.
The changes to the enviroment is just the mark of progress, they look cool too.
Someone mentioned it before, such buffs from the relics applying in combat as some kind of aura with unlimited range (at least if they are listed below the relic aura, so they are part of it).
Rushing the confederation might be a good idea since you inherit their seats too.

Dont bother taking seats back because when you confederate another chaos dwarf faction their seats become yours
you have to love when youre trying to show something off and then suddenly it no longer exists
