With King Charles recovering from his surgery, and Prince William looking after Princess Kate and the children the Royal Family has rarely been so ‘short-staffed’.

But, demonstrating her hallmark can-do attitude, Queen Camilla has come to the rescue!

Despite her obvious concern around her husband’s surgery, she ‘kept calm and carried on’.

While the other senior Royals have been out of action, Queen Camilla’s work ethic has shone through. We’ve seen her spearhead a project to modernise a library of tiny books at Windsor Castle, visit a cancer support centre in north London, meet a Strictly Come Dancing star at a community centre in Cambridge, and be welcomed to Bath by a host of happy children.

It seems in a time of crisis Queen Camilla can always be relied upon to carry the day!

  14. HM Queen Camilla is doing a fantastic job, and she seems to be enjoying it too! She has been a huge support to His Majesty the King, and the rest of the Royal family over the past few days and don't forget that she's 76! I think she is wonderful and long may she reign at His Majesty's side!

  15. Que me perdonen los britanicos,pero veo a Camilla mucho mas cercana a su pueblo que la misma Diana. Camilla es humilde y se ve que disfruta genuinamente el contacto con las personas. Digan lo que digan Carlos hizo una buena eleccion. Diana era mas superficial preocupada de usar la ultima moda,de lucir siempre esbelta,de visitar la gente que estuviera de moda en ese momento y llorar su teleserie personal frente a los medios de comunicacion. Muy manipuladora.
