A member of the Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s mausoleum guard, recolorized.
The tomb, a sprawling complex built to replicate Qin’s domains, has been untouched since Qin was deposited there, but the army was uncovered in 1974 by a farmer digging a well.
The statues consist of about 6-10 standardized body types, and are known to have been painted when they were made. However, upon their discovery, the paint would quickly flake off after being exposed to the air.
