I appreciate this video. It seems like most content creators are too elitist to even acknowledge Pyro traveler’s existence. They’re too busy pumping Mavuika.

Hopefully pyro traveler's longevity is better than the other travelers that came out. That being said if cryo is leagues above I would not mind.

I've also found pyro traveler a lot better than people are acting, especially with lofi. Is there any reason you don't recommend them with Neuvilette? Since my partner had to give her Xilonen to her Mavuika, Traveler had seemed like a decent replacement for her Neuvilette team from my testing.

i knew pyro traveler was very good as soon as i saw the multiplier for a pyro char.
If you can't do damage with pyro traveler, its just that you suck… this time around its a very good unit.
Just one thing pyro traveler isnt c6 rn you need to offer the flint ore and this is unlocked doing tribe reputation and we are missing one last tribe. So they dont have their own pyro infused normal attacks yet ( you can work around it with Bennet) my critisism with off field is the skills duration and cd. You almost need sac sword.
Pyro traveler is not as good as dendro traveler most likely because that was unintended/accidental as a result of introducing a new element, with its set of mechanics.
The pyro traveler is very solid and fits well both in the Natlan/nightsoul system as well as in previous/existing rotations.
There's often so much focus on perfection, top tier performance and meta that people easily forget how something "mid" can play a major cornerstone based on context and availability. This character being free, although locked behind a quest, is a major thing.
The job of content creators (at least the Hoyo partners) is to encourage people to spend money in game. Obviously they will say pyro traveler is trash
@GxG Noir, I think you're the only one having positive view on Pyro MC, most if not all leaning towards bad or at most mid but I agree with you.

Thank you so much for this video Noir. The traveler is my favourite character but most people don’t do guides for them.
So far I like them a lot in two teams:
– Arlecchino, Bennet, Pyro MC, Xingqiu or Yelan.
– Chasca C2, Bennet, Pyro MC, Furina.
I tested them thoroughly, their application is slow enough that they don’t steal vaporize if used correctly. They Vaporize their damage, give the 4pc Scroll buff and 6-15% DMG Bonus with their C1.
I won’t get Emilie so unfortunately they aren’t good with my Kinich. I tried using Furina but they don’t provide enough Pyro application to allow Kinich to recharge his Skill consistently. I don’t have Mualani either.
I’ll try the teams with them as on-field DPS you suggested once I’ll have their C6.
Normal attack C6 traveler will be the best. Obsidian codex and he can get 75% crit rate, 330% crit damage on normal attacks.
If I could make two little changes I’d give them just a little more uptime on their Skill and a way to disable the Pyro application of their Skill while attacking on-field.
I wish this game could be modded. I would have a lot of fun rebalancing my characters.

Right now with the c6 i can hit some big numbers with folier incision. I use c6 diona, kaeya, andy kazuha for the infusion. Sometimes.i get pyro sometimes i dont but consistently, I get anywjere from 180k to 230k burst after the hold skill use and sometimes i see the hold skill get 30 to 40k melts in..
In the next video can you make the calcs bigger? Because if I want to printscreen and cut the image, the quality became poor
Pyro traveler would've been great. If they weren't locked in a room. I can't believe they even let us play with that cracked version, just to take them away from us. That was such bullshit, and proof that the traveler could be great.
I usually assume that Hoyo just neuters the damage of every Traveler, so I never looked at the multipliers. It's actually insane that Pyro MC would have comparable DPS to Yoimiya and Klee, let alone exceed it. There's still some upsides to both of them (Yoimiya's comparative ease of use, and Klee's AoE + Kazuha synergy), but I'm actually excited to be able to use Traveler in abyss outside of Dendro
For raiden overload, I think traveler does more damage if built for EM. I don't have calcs to back this up, though I've heard even Xiangling is better built for EM on raiden overload teams. I'm doubtful that pyro traveler's multiplier damage is better than xianglings, so do you think you could try to run the calcs with him on EM instead?
I was kinda hoping this would be the team where he'd be BiS, seeing as Mavuika can't compete with him since she doesn't work with Raiden. Especially for a high investment (C2R1) Raiden, where buffing her is better than getting Xiangling's damage (and Bennett is of course a technically better option but his lack of off field pyro makes him terrible in multiwave).

While I still think dendro traveler is king, pyro traveler has definitely surprised me. They are a watered down version of mavuika, but that makes him a decent sub dps in abyss when I already have mavuika on the other team. I just wish his skil would last longer, they basically force u to go sac sword. Glad to see content creators finally showcasing him!
Dont forget about clorinde overload with pyro traveller (clorinde moves around a lot so using bennet can be hard)
