Hey Kara. Not interested in Angelica’s brushes. I need to get Sonia G’s new brush line and Wayne Goss. I’m trying to stick with the lines that I know are fairly decent quality and that I have in my stash. I have put myself on a no buy for the next 6 or 7 months. I spent so much money on palattes this year. I just got my last palatte, which was the Bellabeautebar Bejeweled palatte. I absolutely love love jewel tones. This palatte is gorgeous.
That Sephora new scent favorite sets is one of the worst values unfortunately in a long time. Out of those 6 samples I think only one is actually more than the price of the set. The others are either less than $85 or very close to that amount. 😞. I got excited to try the new Kayali but I might as well get a small size and save $$$

It’s so hard to restrain myself from buying everything. I bought every dark and grungy palettes from glamlite today because they are doing another 40% sale. Glamlite is affordable and the quality is amazing so it’s not an easy pass (unless it’s extra bright).

Cara – As much as I love BBB, I need to see that swatched out. I do think the Kiss release is cool but, I don’t understand Glamlite. Kiss’ core audience is mostly men in their 50’s, right?! Btw, I did get the new perfume set with 20% off, otherwise it isn’t worth it. Btw, Glamlite IS the new Colour Pop for fast releases from 2020-2022. They need to slow their roll. – I agree with all the new releases, too many coming out.

Many interesting releases. I haven't had any duds per se with Glow Recipe, but they are not a go-to skincare brand for me. I'm not scared of buying from them, but I'd only do it for the fun of trying something new, since they do well with cute packaging and pleasing textures. The two products I've liked the most are the Watermelon Glow PHA and BHA toner (it's a watery jelly texture) and their Avocado melt Retinol eye cream. That said, at this pricepoint I'd rather get something from Paulas Choice, La Roche Posay, Elta Md, etc. Stuff I know will work and will be fragrance-free.
I saw the Beyoncé movie at Arundel Mills. It was an outing with the competition team at my daughter’s dance studio. It was nice and we basically had the theater to ourselves and the girls were definitely live. Lol.
I really want the Tom Ford fragrance like that is right up my alley. But I agree with you. The pricing is kind of up there. Now if I got it as gift, I would be immensely happy.

Angelica Nyqvist said on her channel that Glamlite had 24 more collabs lined up for next yr…. I hope no one buys all of them. Just wait 2 mos and you'll see them at TJ Maxx for 50% off w the oversaturation they're gonna generate. I was so surprised to see the Rick & Morty collab there so quickly (w Mikayla I and the Barbie palettes).
I'm so glad I don't like cartoon or movie packaging (w very few exceptions). It makes me not want to use eyeshadow, even if the quality, color story, and price are great. I just can't do it. Lucky for my wallet. 🙃💵💰
The Garfield palette is a nice inspo for me to pull out my Nomad Hudson Valley and combine it w Glamlite Choco Martini. 😊
My Harvest Moon is supposed to arrive today or tmrw. I'm excited. After using it, I'll see if I still want Samarian Sunset ~Feb.
I also bought JP Afrogalactic. I watched a few reviews and thought the color story was really fun and versatile and fit my style. And it was 50% off to boot.
These brands!!! I did really well for Black Friday. Spent less than $100. After the Sephora sale I was done until they sent me this dang fragrance discount card. I definitely don’t need any more makeup. I have got to use what I have. Now I’m in a conundrum about what fragrance I’m going to buy. In 2024 I’m committing to more experiences than “things” The prices are out of control even with some of the drugstore brands. I have too many that’s in my collection I haven’t touched.

I've been trying to resist the cheek and eyeshadow palette from Glamlite's Garfield release (someone swatched it and it looks so much prettier than on the site!) and now I see they're having a 40% off sitewide sale…😬 Sighhhh. I gotta do better in 2024. These makeup companies cannot keep getting my coin like this…I'm proclaiming it early! 👏🏾😅
