  1. Who is to say that those villagers didn't pregame coconut drinks at the place you get your fishing rod from before the festival and just decided to continue to hold onto them the whole day? Like when that one aunt no one likes shows up to the potluck with an item you already told her you had just so she could take credit for it.

  2. How cool would it be if we had some buildings for collecting flowers, crystals and special stones? It'd be amazing to have a little cave with all the crystals collected in there as a showcase, or a cute terrarium where you can put all flowers! That way you could collect them by yourself in a similar form to a donation system, but filling up your own properties! Amazing video, as always, I really enjoy this playthrough! 🥰

  3. Another great video! I love how the Sunstone Farm vegetables look in Sam's Shop. I can't believe Raj doesn't drink coffee everyday!. As for pufferfish

  4. I do love how much more detail the mines have in them! Although I don't appreciate the darker levels: my eyes aren't as young as they used to be, and I dislike anything that makes it difficult to see what I'm doing. Eyestrain is not fun.
Huh. Maybe people brought their own coconut drinks–after all, they are one of the things that can be cooked in the kitchen. Or maybe they bought them from the Beach Shack before the festival started.
Yes, atm I am finding the mini games at the festivals kind of frustrating. There is no way to get really good at them in the very limited time you have to practice (once a year!) I keep telling myself that they are still in development, and the controls will improve. I find the sack race at the Cherry Blossom Festival particularly problematic–I just have so much trouble getting the timing right!
I, also, am enjoying the fishing system–it's much easier than that of other games. And I like that there are more fish to catch since the last update. ^_^
WHAT? The basket next to the sign on the dock is new to me! O.O
So far as the scythe is concerned… I have noticed that when clearing the ocean trash, that some of it takes more than one hit to clear. Perhaps that gets worse when we have access to the areas where we can get gold kelp, and at that point we will be able to upgrade our scythe?
I wonder if they are going to (eventually) implement a way to deconstruct crafted items? It would definitely fit into the philosophy of the game…
