Exactly five years after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, much of the U.S. territory was once again in darkness early Tuesday, after Hurricane Fiona battered the island.

  1. Time for Trump to get his paper towel rolls and head to Porto Rico for another round of saving this island. Maybe we should move all these folks to South Florida? Feel sorry for these folks, what bad luck to a poor country.

  3. Didn’t that one guy in Oklahoma who trump appointed to fix Puerto Rico get finished yet? Between climate denying legislators, a King who saw no profit in helping anyone but himself, and the minor disadvantages of being in hoc to Chase Bank for the whole island, pretty sure prayers aren’t going to do it. They didn’t any other time they were sent so far. Thoughts though, if followed up by action, aren’t a bad idea. For now, send food and water.

  4. Psalms 47:7-9 KJV

4He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah. 5God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet. 6Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. 7For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. 8God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness. 9The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.

  5. This is what our tax dollars should be going to, not funding the Ukraine war with Russia. Puerto Rico is a United States territory, it is supposed to be a state. Why not help OUR people? What's gonna be your excuse THIS TIME? Last time they went MONTHS WITHOUT CLEAN WATER, ACCEPTABLE HOUSING, ON AND ON? So what will your excuse be this time? biden is feeding, hosing and flying illegal migrants all around EXCEPT TO SANCTUARY CITIES. If we didn't have to pay for them, we could help our own, not only in PR, but NYC, Portland, etc. Homelessness, drug addictions (made WORSE by the cartel migrants, you may as well say ALL migrants), get these people out NOW. Return them to the countries they ruined, let them come back legally next time, so many per year. With the illegals that can't be found anymore to go to their " hearings" we shouldn't accept ANYONE for the next decade. They're gonna suck up benefits only American citizens provided and paid for for OTHER American citizens only.

  6. Since Puerto Rico is in the middle Atlantic Ocean, and it is prone to be hit by a hurricane , every hurricane season, why is the Puerto Rican governor, and the island inhabitants not prepared for these storms. If they don’t do the needed preparations, then they will always suffer severe damages from hurricanes. You must build stronger infrastructure, you must have an evacuation plan, you must have adécuate food, water, medicine, and shelter for yourselves for at least 30 days. And you must stop waiting for other people to do it for you. Puerto Ricans must take control of their well being during hurricanes.
