  1. The publisher practically set this dev team up to fail with a ridiculously unreasonable deadline, a complete lack of proper support, and their general business model of factory-churning out the cheapest most passionless products possible.

  2. Ratchet and clank 3 only had 1 year dev and it's a masterpiece, I don't think it's the amount of time that matters as much as the resources and experienced devs. That's not the right excuse for this poor delivery.

  3. The amount of people has nothing to do with the outcome of a title. Look at Battlebit… The Best Battlefield Like game there is and was only made by a few people. Hell even Ravenfield was made by one dude lol

  4. Ive seen a mf develop a remake of GTA San Andreas with out of this world graphics in a few weeks…..i think devs just fucking suck complete dog shit nowadays

  5. Wait, people are still falling for the old (b-but we did have the time!) excuse? They could have had 3 years and it won't make a difference. The issues are from a lack of organization and skill on the team. People have to accept that sometimes devs are BAD AT THEIR JOB and it's very common nowadays in the industry, but the old put all the blame on the publisher card is fucking strong that things will never change. The publisher is at fault as well don't get me wrong but come on people, game use to have 1 year dev cycles with smaller teams and fewer tools lol. Please, we have to keep these devs accountable as well because it's to the point where games are in 7+ year dev cycles and they're STILL broken and incomplete and that's a pure talent issue.

  6. I can't even count how many times I see short-sighted imbeciles blaming the wrong people when they get delivered a garbage game, They immediately throw hate at the developers yet when it comes AAA games, the majority of blame almost always lies firmly on the shoulders of the corporate taskmasters pulling thier strings. Most game developers are gamers at heart and they want nothing more than to make a great game. They aren't the ones who want the game to be packed to the gills with pay-to-win microtransactions. They aren't the ones firing thier most talented senior creators and replacing them with either nobody at all or some unpaid college intern. This is the reason so many of the best games that have come out in recent years are indie games that have no corporate overseers to meddle with the development process.
