Like deployed 👍
I am amused by all wannabe language experts trying to correct pronunciation of name Ptolemy.
Ptolemy looks a little bit like Baron Vladimir of the Harkonnen family.
Anytime I click on a video and it’s not Simon, I don’t close it out. I’m thinking of unsubscribing soon
An excellent video of an era that doesn't get talked sbout enough.
Glad you guys decided to do a vid on Ptolemy
Come for the video.
Stay to read the comments 😂
Looks like the cat didn't stay for the ending.
What started the Second Diadoch War sounds like the plot of the movie "Gladiator": instead of the leader Antipator leaving the crown to his son Cassander, he left it to his favorite General. (12:10). Fun times result. Maybe Ridley Scott got the idea for the plot from this.
Damn, from the basement again. Done, the looking up is first level zoom, which would be addressed immediately. That is a distraction and interrupts the discussion, or in this case presentation. Tried again, but can't.
Huh that was great!
I so appreciate the American narrator. The British speakers are nearly impossible to understand when describing American history. I've gotten to just skip past them. They speak so quickly that I spend more time re-running what they say than understanding what they are trying to communicate.
Great video as always. I recommend Joseph Lister as a future video.
Great work Eric, I’m glad biographics is able to keep going thanks to you and Karl since Simon has so many other channels to handle
Please shorten the video! Too many details and individuals!
Can I trust a historian who says “Pi-tolomy”?
Thanks for the video 👍🏻
Bring Simon back.
These presentations are so flat its boring despite the content being interesting 😪
Ptolemy personally sponsored the great mathematician Euclid. He found Euclid's seminal work, the Elements, too difficult to study, so he asked if there were an easier way to master it. According to Proclus, Euclid famously quipped: "Sire, there is no Royal Road to geometry."
Naval army? You mean fleet?
Nothing wrong with Eric but I want Simon back. Simon is a gifted storyteller who can go off on tons of tangents and it’s still entertaining
Jesus is the Son of G-d. He died on a cross and rose from the dead after three days
He is sitting at the right hand of G-d
Jesus ascended from heaven and took on the form of a human even though He is G-d. He endured the punishment deserved for all of our sins.
Whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
thought He was a Macedonian
Well, he's not Simon, but he's better than that other guy. lol
