Many are they that say to my soul, they say there’s no help for you in God. See, I cried out to the LORD with my voice, and He heard me out of His holy hill. I laid down to sleep, but when I awakened, I see the LORD He had sustained me. Chorus: Thou, oh LORD, are a shield for me. You’re the Glory and the Lifter of my head. 2.I will not be afraid of 10,000 of people, who encamp themselves against me round about. I will not be afraid of 10,000 of demons, who encamp themselves against me round about. 3.Arise, oh LORD; save me my God, strike my enemy on the cheek [punch him in the face]; break the teeth of the ungodly [bust him in the mouth]; Salvation belongs to You! {my comment: you don’t save a sheep, or your little puppy from the jaws of a wolf, by petting the wolf or throwing your hands up and saying,”oh well, that’s just the wolf’s nature.” If you love your sheep/puppy, you attack the wolf with whatever means you have!! This is not a turn the other cheek scenario. Likewise, Jesus forgave those who crucified Him, but unless they repented and received His forgiveness thru faith in Him, they are now in Hell for all eternity. Don’t make a false image of Jesus as a weak, timid, skinny, cowardly, frail pacifist; He is the mightiest Warrior in the universe. And He is going to single-handedly slay multitudes who want to kill Him again when He returns!}
