Almost need one of those old airport snowblowers to take care of all the snow that slides off
Torque Wrench is in Foot pounds or NM not PSI Heth….
Stinking goats, is that irony. We as humans build the barns and p.s. we get the goats. Now they got our goat.
LOL, What a Show off, LOL
OL
There a real decent video. Diverse. Bravo .
Wow loads of snow āļø
It must difficult/impossible to hydrotest any structure in the freezing weather!
The goats didn't almost give you a heart attack. The snow didn't either. Whoever built the enclosure and put the goats in it is responsible for that lol
Thatās a Crazy amount of snow!š³
Snow fall was big and hard on everything but much needed. It's gonna take warm wends and rain to get the amount of snow many of us has piled up but lots of water will be nice.
We used to call our roosters š, soup and enchiladas.
Seems like you could've converted the old second window into a loft doorway.
PSI ? or …. ft-lbs (pound-feet) of torque?
Heath, you are super creative. It would be interesting to see Callie & Reed get involved with filming or learning from you.
Hiya Heath and Cedar
you need to look up black sheep skid!! you ll love it!!
crazy amount of snow! Great watching you tackle it. Q: will the snow on the roof turn to ice when it rains, and if snow, will it push against the Solar Panels as it start melting and starts to slide off the roof. ?
I think I have seen that skidsteer on 2 wheels more than 4. And surely itās got to be dizzy by now!
With the snow amount, it is like you need something even bigger to get the snow moved further away from the buildings.
I guess a small dozer is going to be in the works. At least for this year it would handy.
It is good to see your construction method held up to the snow load. I do wonder about the amount of water when this starts to melt. Will the drainage around the house be sufficient and will you get a lot for runoff drainage ditches cut into the property by nature.
I just hope and pray that one of these days we don't find out that you have rolled the skid steer over and someone has been hurt.
Proverbs 16:20-21
King James Version
20 He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning.
You got a lot of snow on your property. Looks cool, but I donāt envy the muddy muck youāll be living with for quite a while.
Itās nice to see youāre finally blocking the walls. I hope you plan to do it all. Iāll bet youāll notice the difference with how much better you retain heat in the shop! Iām kinda surprised it took you so longā¦well, no Iām really not! :o)
lay off the booze and get your priorities straight
Need a large tractor with a large front mount snowblower for all that! Oof!
Heath you are working way too hard on snow removal, you really need a snowblower for your Bobcat enabling you to blow the snow towards the bottom or lower section of your property closer to the road. Certainly hope you find a decent used unit before next winter as it will save you so much time and energy, could also be used to widen those 3 miles of road going to the kids school bus pick-up area in mid winter when the road has narrowed severely.
That, my friends, is going to be a lot of water when it melts. Muck boots for sure, maybe a canoe
JudithB Spring was about a month early, but now winter is back as I feared. The peaches are in full bloom, but at least the apple is holding off yet! Lots of cleanup to do before late April when the main garden should go in. Chicks are expensive, so I have put 9 New Hampshire eggs in the incubator and will add more eggs this week. The greenhouse is filling up with potted bareroot plants and lots of lettuce, chard, spinach and kale ready to be planted in the outside hoop beds. Ticks are out already too. Ugh!! I hope your snow melts slow enough not to flood your buildings.
Heath, you ever think of turning your front yard into a snow storage pile. Its the perfect slope going down, cut in at the top of your parking area there and keep on dumping and dumping, over and over, make a little snow mtn. Anyway, just something I noticed while watching this episode. Great show.
It certainly looks like Red Poppy Ranch could use some sort of snow shuffle for roofs that could be connected to a machine of vinch. Throw it up and drag it off sort of thing and in doing so drag of snow and loosen it up. š
Eat that rooster tonight
Iām pretty sure toque is measured in ft/lbs or inch/lbs not psi.
When you first got Ruby my parents got themselves a dog again as well. It is really funny, bc he is a brown lab (the working breed, not the show breed) mixed with some sort of bird dog and it always fills me with joy to see Ruby, she looks so much like my parents dog. The two of them being almost the same age just adds to that as well. She is such a cutie!
