  1. I've always loved a good onyx deck…been messing around with yours decided to use the palantir instead of the 3rd elixir I highly recommend it. It's won me games from players not realizing just how much damage it can do. Did 12 to a guy once I got 4 counters on it

  2. At 1:18:14, it takes a second for the land to be destroyed because Casualties of War resolves top to bottom. It destroys the creature, then the enchantment, then Borrowed Time releases Onyx because it’s no longer on the battlefield, then destroys the land.

Also, someone should count how many Blood on the Snows got played against that Rakdos deck. That’d be funny.

  3. 53:13 I was with you up till you said "it's just a game, so don't take it so seriously"… the problem with this argument is that you're playing very competitively. It is a game, which means people play to have fun. The mindset that there is a limited amount of fun to be had and that you will have all of it, is a competitive mindset. I enjoy your content in general, but that particular argument is, what's the saying, the pot calling the kettle black? It's hypocritical to tell people to calm down because it's just a game after stomping them down with what is, objectively, a powerful and comparably competitive deck.

The argument makes a lot more sense versus a more competitive list though. Azorius control or Muxus goblins becoming salty crybabies for example. Or if you were playing a deck intended to do big fun crazy things, rather than just lock your opponent out from playing the game and then draining them slowly. Which is not a complaint about your deck. I just don't think that particular argument you made is valid when you're playing heavy control.
