  1. Nice to see Sam is up and about again! I had a cracked rib about a year ago. Even that was pretty painful and took months to heal completely, so I can only imagine what he's going through now, ouch! Take care Sam, heal well!
Can't wait to see this beauty painted! I mean the plane, not Sam 😂

  2. OOOOoooo BOY. I am SUPER excited. I hope you added some burgundy to the red, Happy to see Shawn White wanna be is doing better. I have had broken ribs and you hit the nail on the head, sneezing is like like reliving the accident over and over again. Has Joe received his new teeth yet? I am very proud to be a small part of funding this incredible journey.

  3. It's good to see Sam up & about. He looks like he has lost a little bit of weight. It takes bones a while to heal. Especially when they are apart. He is looking good! Just don't over due Sam. Well another delay on the painting but things happen in God's time & that always is the best time. You did the right thing & got all those annoying little parts done, so that's a big pain in the butt out of the way. Just press on be happy, everybody's good 👍 & that is what is important! 401 will come together. Stay positive!!!

  4. Haven't been to the channel lately, really since the early days of you acquiring the 401. I see the plans have changed quite a bit and now you really are into a full on restoration. Going to be awesome to see her all come back together. Continued success and progress to returning it to the sky!

  5. Sorry but the clavicula could and should be fixed surgically in a case where so many ribs are broken and given the wrong placement of the bones. The guy should at least be wearing a harness 24×7 otherwise there will be a permanent misalignment

  6. Dad used to fly a King Air 400, things are really sick. Gotta say though, the beachjets (400) were a much better ride. Kingair definanetly made some cool looking planes back in the day. To bad the got bought out and phased out by hawker.

  7. I'm sorry, but the mettalic white/red/black is going to look terrible! Nearly as bad as American men who insist on wearing check trousers! A normal paint in mostly white with subtle contrasting stripes would have been a better choice.

  8. When brushing on Aircraft Stripper, only brush on one way and leave it. Don't brush it over back and forth. This considerably weakens the power of the stripper. I own a body shop and have used hundreds of gallons of that product.

  9. That Kingair does look sweet 😋
Wow! You both worked pretty fast in the videos. I don't even think "Superman" or "Flash Gordon" would have been able to keep up. lol
Good to see you up and moving around Sam ⛷

  10. Sam I broke 2 ribs 2 weeks ago and can feel your pain , very slow healing and took an ambulance ride to the hospital that was far more painful , but 1 to two months , is what they sat for recovery , so God Blss and hope you recover fast as this is the most painful thing that I have ever had to recover from and I have broken many bones , jaw 3 tomes rists , one twice and the other once ,elbow and shoulder , so best of luck in your healing and I hope its fast , be praying for you , Thanks for listening and best of luck , John

  11. No disrespect to the RBR colors, but I shall take this delay as a sign and make a suggestion. Considering what this plane will be doing I sincerely believe it needs a happier palette. Kinda like that Polaris in the shop. Except with darker yellow. Fuselage in blue and cowlings, tip tanks, and some stripes in yellow.

  12. You people have spent a considerable amount of time getting these aluminum parts stripped clean, and did a fairly decent job doing so. I am amazed that with all that time spent that you would minimize quality and used some cheap crap single component spray bomb primer.

  13. You could stylize "PHOENIX" as "4H0EN1X" (the P is a closed four, the o is a zero, the i is a one). It's a preeeeeety old-school thing…but the 401 is a pretty damn old-school plane. 🙂

  14. Hi guys! Nice to see Sam up and about. I am learning so much about this level of aviation from the 411 and the Cougar videos. I think I like the Cougar as much as I like a W124 Mercedes!

  17. I am just a rez Indian and I just had a total knee replacment and being the rez Mutt I am and like most native people I don't tolerate the pain meds prescribed so I have to go without any hard core pain killers and just rely on acetaminophen to keep me going
