  3. Jon, thanks for such a beautiful tribute to Princess Alice! And, um…I don't mean to be nit-picky, but I am Canadian, and I can advise you that the name Rideau, of Rideau Hall (that Churchill loved) is pronounced Ree-doh and not Rye-doh. I hope that is not taken badly! Hard to know how to pronounce city or other names, if they are not part of your country or culture. 😽I always struggled with pronunciation of British towns and names – often got it wrong! So I totally get it! 😁Thanks again for such a dignified, and informative, video! You're the best!

  6. I think we tend to get tied up with the “major players” in history and overlook so many (from all walks of life) who contributed to the way history has actually played out. And this lady is no exception. Thank you for drawing such a vivid picture of Princess Alice and her accomplishments, which can only be touched on in a, necessarily, short video. Please continue to bring more historic characters to our attention so that they are not overlooked or forgotten and we are able to appreciate their contribution to the historic narrative.
