Princes of Darkness CK3 Mod – Alexander The Graceful Tyrant #3 – Ventrue Gameplay

Alexander is a venture sired by the father of the clan himself nearly 2000 years before the start date. Though he is graceful and affable there is a darkness in his heart that existed even before his embrace. The first vampiric lord of Francia he guided mortal and immortal politics, whispering into the ears of The Carolingian kings and supported by a coterie of powerful Toreador queens. As time passed his dark and tyrannical nature began to outshine his charms and his youngest child conspired with Toreador Queens of Love to overthrow him. Now he sits at his lowest point, hungry for revenge and an opportunity to take back that which is by right of blood his, The Kingdom of Francia.

Can we end the infighting in France and restore Alexander to his rightful throne? Let’s find out.

Princes of Darkness is a Full Conversion Mod for Crusader Kings 3 based on the Vampire the Masquerade and other tabletop RPGs set in The World of Darkness. In the Mod you play as one of several supernatural beings with their own powers and goals.

  1. You picked (somewhat randomly let's be fair 😄) a very interesting character for a wife. While she is very young in 1230, Dominique Touraine ends up as a major character in the modern Sabbat. She is the leader of the "disciplined idealists" faction of the sect, disliking the mindless savagery of her colleagues while staying true to the core freedom tenets of the early Sabbat/Anarch movement.

Having her tied to Alexander makes for an interesting pairing. She is much more politically active than Alexander's typical Toreador companions, would likely agree with his strict approach to rulership but would clash with his usual methuselah disdain for neonates and ancilla wellbeing. Probably trying to subtly change his views about this (or go being his back if needed really, she was never afraid to try punching above her weight).

  2. Are you going for Germany and France? Also, how do political borders work? These seem to mirror real nations. Are these like modeled shadow governments that basically decide who goes to war and for what from behind the scenes?
